I love this salmon! I typically purchase farm-raised, but I thought I'd try wild caught as this variety can have higher quantities of Omega 3s and overall a better nutrition profile. Some folks might say these taste a little "fishier" than farm raised, but it's literally fish, what do you expect?? These filets are quick to defrost, and the lemon dill salmon recipe on the back is great. I also use this salmon in curry dishes, pasta dishes, or just pan seared with a little Old Bay. Definitely a new staple to keep in my freezer for easy weeknight dinners!

This works very well for me as a person cooking for one having individually wrapped filets. Easy to make in the oven.

Alright. Nothing special. I think the price is a bit high for what you get. Might buy again if they’re out of stock of what I usually get. Otherwise I’ll stick to other stuff

Bones and scales in every filet. 2/6 filets were pale and had gone bad. Aldis frozen salmon almost never has bones (maybe once I’ve found it and have bought it for years) and has never had a pale/spoiled filet.
Had scales

Taste isn't bad. It's a lower fat salmon, so you have to be extra careful not to dry it out. However, several pieces weren't descaled. I've never had this issue with salmon from other brands.

Didnt mind the taste, it was ok but I've had better frozen salmon at Target. It was the bones that disappointed me. Will not be buying again.

Do not buy this salmon. It is also known as dog salmon or chum salmon. It does not taste good. Wish I had known before buying. Waste of money.

Very good thanks target! This salmon is very good quality bad reviews are not cooking thawing properly Salmon needs to be defrosted prior to cooking they can be left in fridge to defrost then pat the salmon dry with towel start cooking in very hot pan to get crispy skin this method has worked for me wonderfully so I recommend. I like that is wild caught which means healthier than farmed which also means it doesn’t have additional colors or additives. I have recommended to family. Good quality taste and value

This Keta Salmon was substituted on my order and it’s disgusting. The consistency is mushy, it tastes like dirt, I’m not even going to finish the piece I made for dinner. I’m almost hesitant to even donate it because I don’t think anyone would enjoy eating this. All of the posts on the internet were saying the same thing about this type of salmon but I wanted to see if they were over exaggerating. They were not.
Terrible!

So many bones! One stabbed straight into my gums on my first bite, as I had no idea these sharp bones were hiding inside each fillet. My family couldn't eat any of these for how many bone fragments we kept finding. Also tasted bland and semi-fishy.
Lots of bones throughout

So many bones throughout the filets. Basically ruined my meal having to pull out bones and sort through the food to try to find them. Very disappointing.

Got the usual Atlantic salmon bag, kept frozen preserving the cold chain until yesterday when I thawed in the refrigerator overnight to this surprise, one of the fillets was not flash frozen and looked suspiciously different to the other pieces in consistency smell and even the skin was different. Might have been a one in a thousand event, still. Not a surprise to have at dinnertime

This was the worst fish I’ve ever had. It was grey and had a really off taste. White goo came out of it when I steamed it which had never happened before when I’ve bought salmon other places. DONT BUY IT!
