Buy in store--check the expiration date!
This is a highly rated product. I ordered 6 cans to be shipped. When I checked the expiration date, I was shocked to find a canned food with an expiration date of July 2025--this is the last of May 2025! It has been sitting in a store or warehouse forever. Lesson for myslf--buy in store so I can check the expiration date before purchasing it. I have an awful lot of canned salmon to eat in a short time!

This is very good salmon. I like having it on hand for salads, salmon patties, and add to tossed salads for the extra protein. I also enjoy Wild Planet tuna and purchase regularly. Not sure why it took me so long to try this company, but I'm glad I did.

Perfect!
I could write the same review for all of the Wild Planet products: It is perfect! Open a tin of Wild Pink Salmon and you see a perfect chunk of pure delicious protein. I am mostly into quick and extremely easy meals so the Wild Pink Salmon added to a salad of greens, other salad vegetables of choice and cold boiled/nuked potatoes with a vinaigrette is a very easy delicious meal with no time involved. The possibilities are endless and it's always going to taste delicious and be very nutritious as well. Plus you know the fish you are eating was sustainably caught and the health of the ocean is made better by this company and their practices. What's not to love!

The salmon was dry as a bone. The only way this maybe would be edible is if it was in a salad and drenched with dressing. Maybe.

The salmon is not pink..looks & tastes like tuna and there is too much black meat included. Salty and dry-maybe good for patties or salad. Wild Planet is well rated..but this salmon disappoints.
