It’s a workhorse that, with proper maintenance, gets better with age. If you prefer low-maintenance cookware, a stainless steel or non-stick pan might be a better fit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not realize how large this pan was going to be! It seems very sturdy and like it is easy to clean. Unfortunately it is too large to use on my stove (I have a very old stove with tiny burners) luckily u can use this pan in the oven also so it will be reserved for that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used a small cast iron while camping so I was very much so looking forward to using a larger scale one. It is quite heavy, as expected. I broke mine in to cook a steak and it performed well! I was able to control the cooking much better than on the grill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan is amazingggg!! I love a solid cast iron pan, but it’s heavy so be careful. It cooks well even on an electric stove. I wish I had a gas stove to try it out on. This pan is versatile as well since it can also go in the oven. I have a plastic scraper that I use to clean it and everything comes off pretty easily. This is my new everyday pan.
