The last several times I’ve purchased this it’s been spoiled even though it’s in the best by date range. There’s definitely a quality issue.

I love that this lunch meat doesn't have any nitrates, phosphates or any artificial colors. That was the main selling point for me. It works perfect as lunch meat. I would recommend if you are looking for something that doesn't have a ton of additives or artificial colors.

This used to be good meat but it's been so slimy lately we can't even eat it.

This is quality lunch meat. Taste better than the grocerie store. Not as salty either with a fresh taste. This item handy to pick up when you need itsfor lunches the next day so you don't have to stop at another store before heading home.

This turkey used to be good, but it seems lately every package I get is slimy upon opening. Like REALLY SLIMY. It’s disgusting. Even though the date shows it should still be good for a few more weeks, I don’t feel comfortable feeding this to my kids. I certainly wouldn’t eat it. Yuck. On top of that, Target seems to have removed the “Report an issue” option, so now if I want my money back I have to go into the store for a refund. That’s convenient /s. Do better, Target.

There were at least three instances of one of us chomping down on a bone from turkey that came from the same package. We buy this one a lot so weren’t expecting them! Not only was it kind of gross, I worry about it breaking a tooth or one of my kids choking/getting injured. The quality control is lacking here and I won’t be purchasing again for a while.

This tasted like absolutely nothing when I tried it. You deserve to taste something, so buy the honey smoked turkey instead of this!

When I first started purchasing this lunchmeat around 6 months ago the quality was top notch. Flavorful but not too salty, and most importantly, no hard or gristly bits. But I found small bone shards as well as tough bits in the past two batches, so I'm very disappointed as it's difficult to find quality, natural deli products.

If you're thinking of saving a dollar over the name brand, spend the dollar instead. This doesn't really even taste like turkey. If you buy it anyway, blot off the water. It made my sandwich too soggy to eat.

Def just found a super sharp piece of bone in this turkey. Glad I didn’t give it to my kids!

Yes it’s slimy, it’s because there aren’t preservatives. It’s natural. It’s not rotten nor does the smell or taste reflect that. It tastes good and IS good. If you bought a more expensive brand (Apple Gate), you’d notice the same exact “slime.” I hope the price stays relatively low and target adds more fresh and frozen food without preservatives. I love making protein wraps.

Pleasantly surprised at how good this is vs the major brands. The size is a little bigger which is great and it feels less processed. Love how it comes sealed in a bag inside the box too
