Not as useful as I thought
This bin will expand to 12", so no need to spend the extra money if that's what you're looking for. The expansion is sticky an a little wobbly...not as smooth as I was hoping. If you want a shallow cube for a 12" compartment, this might work for you.

Doesnt hold file filders very well.
I was hoping to use these for files in my car but they don’t hold the hanging file folders and normal manila file folders barely fit. Will Have to use for storage instead of files.

Good storage option for dorms!
Nice and sturdy, and it’s easy to expand when needed. It’s a pretty big storage container too so you can store many things! This can be perfect for storing books if you don’t have a bookshelf. You can expand it as you book collection grows!

Adjustable size storage bin
This bin fits perfectly in my cubby bookshelf, which is exactly what I was looking for. It expands to fill the cubby, but could be slid back to just fill half of the cubby. I like that it adjusts to accommodate different arrangements and for reorganizing. I am currently using it to store my daughter’s art supplies. Since it’s clear she can easily see what is stored in each bin without having to pull them out.

Doubles in sizes!
honest review. We have a lot of Brightroom storage bins in our house but this is the first expandable one that I’ve tried. I like that it doubles in size to meet your needs. I’m using it for all of the random under sink items that would usually just be all over the place.

Helpful clear box with many uses
Good sized box that expands to about 12 x 12 inches but smallest size is about 12 x 6 inches. Seems well-made. The plastic is not too thin. The handles are helpful. I think it would be great to organize the pantry or bathroom closet.
