Q: The provided dimensions are not clear. What is the depth prior to and after expansion? Does the depth lock in so it doesn’t expand when you grab it by the handles?

A: Just bought this and am returning because it expanded the wrong direction. It is 7.25 in wide, 10 in long (expands to 7.25 in wide, 17.5 in ping) and 6 in high.
