A: No it does not drain into the fridge. There is a colander type insert along the bottom that drains into the actual bin.

A: Hello JRosa7 - Thanks for taking an interest in this Brightroom Bin. The divider is a compression fit. It slides down inside the bin and the notched areas flex and hold the divider in place against the side walls of the bin. Great minus the divider
overall its great, I love it and it helps me organize and fit all my food into my tiny appartment fridge. I did have to look at the reviews to figure out the middle insert peice. I bought two of these, one of them the middle divider slides in no problem. The second one the middle divider wont stay in place. it keeps popping out. I tried all the tips and ticks I saw in other reviews but it just wont stay. for me its not a big deal so I just threw away the divider. but if the divider is make or break I might choose a different container and save yourself the headache.

I like that these bins come with adjustable divider and colander features to keep produce fresh for longer. Only gave 4 stars becuase it would be helpful to see this in a machine safe / top-shelf safe material as produce bins meed to be sanatized. Otherwise they would be easy to clean by hand, and capacity is great size for the quantity of produce we usually shop for two (we have 4 bins at home). Would purchase again.m

Not dishwasher safe
In case you haven’t noticed from the other reviews. This cannot go in the dishwasher. I’ve had it for a year with no issues, then all of a sudden, stupid me put it in the dishwasher and it melted and was deformed.

I absolutely love this product! I bought it because one of my daughters loves grapes and I wanted this to maintain them fresh. I used to wash them and put them in a Tupperware but they would go bad right away So I loved this! Plus she loves it and super easy for her to open the container and grab some from the fridge.
