A: Sometimes they are stackable, and sometimes not. This will depend upon what you are storing in them, given the softer construction, and only structure provided by the collapsible metal frame design.

A: It would keep out bugs and spiders about as much as any other zipper bag. I wouldn't recommend using this for food storage as pests like mice could chew through the fabric, but there is only a tiny space between 2 two zipper pulls any bugs could get in and I feel like that's pretty unlikely unless they are very tiny and motivated to by food inside.
