I actually really like this dress. I almost gave it five stars. The material is a bit stiff, but I like that because it doesn’t hug all of my “curves”. I am 5 foot 3 1/2 inches. When I ordered it, I weighed around 190 pounds. I am now down to 176. It was slightly tight in the chest when I ordered it. Now it fits perfect. It does have a high waist, but I find that flattering. I’m actually a 38D in bra size. So I’m not very small up there. I ordered an XL. I’m thinking about going back and ordering an L if I lose more weight. It is a little expensive, but I think this company has pretty good quality clothes, generally. So I didn’t mind paying a little extra.

Very low quality seams
This dress fit perfectly fine, it wasn’t tight or too loose. However a seam on the back split within 10 minutes of wearing it. Unfortunately I already threw out the tags so I don’t think it can be returned or refunded.

Slightly odd fit - but will work for some people
I'm a shorter, size 12-14 normally, and to be honest, I ordered this by accident. (Selected size L) I'm short 5'1", so the overall length works well for me. But be aware: The "waist" is high - more of an empire cut. The chest is small - I'm relatively small chested and I am at the limit with this one. There is no stretch or give - and based on the above factors, sizing up might be a good idea. The arms look loose based on the photo above, but they really aren't. It will need to be washed in delicate cycle and hung to dry, otherwise it will shrink.
