The light works well to show you where the quick is. However the trimmers could be sharper. It take some effort to actually cut the nails.

The light is perfect to view where blood line quick is. The clear plastic cover catches the nail clipping to prevent a mess. You will never use any other clipper again once you have tried these.

The LED light illuminates the bloodline in the nails and claws to make it safer so you do not clip too far down. These clippers come with three little batteries to add into the clippers so you can use them right away. I love how easy it is to clip my dogs nails, and my dog was very comfortable and calm for her first time. these clippers also come with a mini nail file attached to it to file down the edges. The light really helps you see the bloodline so that you don’t cut the nail too short. They are comfortable to hold and easy to use. My dog usually has his nails cut at the vet or the groomers because I’m usually too nervous to cut them myself. But the light makes me feel a lot more comfortable doing it myself and it’s nice having the option between grooming and vet appointments. I received an incentive to write this review.
