I bought these for my husband. He wanted warm, cozy slippers that could be worn inside the house, and also with a sturday enough sole to wear them outside. He reminds me every day how much he loves these.

Sizes don't mean anything. I purchased these as a gift for Christmas, but when it turned out these were a touch too small, I ordered a size up as a replacement for my loved one. Despite claiming to be two different sizes, they are exactly the same. The numbered sizing has no relation to reality. This is an item you will have to try on before buying if you have any hope of finding a pair that fits properly.

They are super comfortable, but because they're not lined with wool, my feet do start to sweat in them after a while. I wear them about 40hrs a week, working from home in my office. So the wear in 3 wks may be more than most would do in time, but it's not walking time. It's me sitting. Either way this is still the fastest i have had a pair of slippers start to come apart. Surprised me because the construction feels good.

The first time I wore them, my feet hurt. So after a couple more times, I decided to take out the insoles. No more foot pain, but extremely uncomfortable. I really wanted to like these slippers. I can’t say I would recommend them, I’m back to wearing my old tattered slippers, which are still comfortable.

I bought these Alpine slippers for myself first. I enjoyed them so much that I bought them for my sisters last year and my 94 year old dad this year. He said he didn’t need them, but he hasn’t hardly taken them off since I gave them to him. They run small, so factor that into your purchase. They are good for narrow feet, which run in our family. I especially like that they feel very secure on our feet and give my dad stability with his reduced mobility. I have had them for awhile and they still look good. I will definitely buy them again when needed.
