Q&A(26)
Q: Does this suitcase meet American Airlines carry on specs for size?
A: It's riduculous that American Tourister claims this meets carry on restrictions. Even in their specs, they mistate the total linerar inches of the bag by erroneously adding up the interior dimensions.
submitted byTarget1567 - 1 month agoA: This case meets the carry on requirements for most major domestic airlines including American.
submitted byAmericanTourister - 3 years agoBrand expertA: No, its not. I agree with the person above, this is oversized. These wheels make it almost 24 inches tall.
submitted by - 2 years agoA: This is oversized for many airlines which have a maximum of 21 or 22 inches
submitted byBeen there - 3 years agoA: The domestic airlines height maximum for a carry on is 22 inches INCLUDING THE WHEELS.. So, in order to make sure it will be allowed as a Carry On, measure from the ground to top of bag.

A: The wheels are not removable. This case is intended to be carry on sized for most major airlines when the expansion is left closed.
submitted byAmericanTourister - 2 years agoBrand expertA: This is frustrating. It does not meet the Delta Airlines or Southwest Airlines requirements for carry-on! Has to be 22 inches or less. Had to PAY for bag was NOT planning on checking! False claim!

A: NOT true. Had to check since it was over 22 inches.
submitted bySH - 2 years agoA: Thanks for your question. This case will fit Southwest's overhead bins when the expansion is left closed.

Q: Does this luggage come with a Prop 65 warning ?
A: Hello - Thank you for asking. We want to help address your concerns. A Proposition 65 warning label does not mean that a product is unsafe or that it violates any health or safety rule. The requirement for a warning label is triggered when a product exposes people even to very low levels of common substances that the state has listed as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity. These warnings are only required on products sold in California, and are not required by other states or the federal government, but to be cautious we sometimes put warnings on products we sell in other states. We hope this information is helpful. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please connect with our team directly at warranty@americantourister.com.
