About the Author
Lorenzo Rodriguez taught and worked as a school administrator for twenty-nine years before retiring. While teaching primary grades, he would tell stories to his students. The ones they most loved and connected with, he decided to capture on paper. Years later, a friend discovered the first draft of An Airplane Without Wings on his desk. His friends and students loved the story so much that Lorenzo decided to publish it to share it with the world! I absolutely loved *An Airplane Without Wings* by Lorenzo Rodriguez. The story is about Little Henry, who thinks milk without cookies is as silly as a “zoo without cages” or a “pizza without a crust.” His funny, creative reasons for why they go together made my kids and I laugh. The illustrations are bright and engaging, and the story is simple and sweet. It’s a great book for showing kids why small joys, like having cookies with milk, matter. Perfect for reading together and enjoying those little moments!
