@mscraftyteacher 📚Big Feelings! 💕 In honor of World Read Aloud Day, I wanted to share a book that focuses on students’ social emotional skills and their well being. This book is the sequel to All Are Welcome, and it beautifully describes how what we feel is okay and valid, and that we are not alone. Every child can see themselves reflected on each page, and feel represented. ❤️ We all have “big feelings” about this school year, and I want to show my students that their feelings are valid, and that it is okay to talk about them and reflect. I’m so glad I found this book! It has opened conversations with my second graders during morning circle time. I’ll link the text in my bio. Be sure to check under “Shop My Instagram.” Have you spotted this read aloud? How are you including social emotional learning in your classroom? ⬇️ . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #mscraftyteacher #blog #teachersofinstagram #teachersoninstagram #ctbloggerbabes #blogger #influencer #newteacher #teachersfollowteachers #socialemotionallearning #equityandinclusion #teachersfollowingteachers #iteachk #iteachfirst #iteach2nd #teachergram #artsandcrafts #targetteachers #raedunn #targetstyle #teachingideas #classroomlibrary #bookstagram #sikhexpo #discoverunder5k #flairpens #productreview #ltkunder100 #worldreadaloudday

Description

About the Book

"A group of kids express a multitude of feelings and discover they are not alone"--

Book Synopsis

The newest picture book from the creators of All Are Welcome to help children navigate BIG FEELINGS!

In their bestselling picture book All Are Welcome, Alexandra Penfold and Suzanne Kaufman celebrate kindness, inclusivity, and diversity. Now with Big Feelings, they help children navigate the emotional challenges they face in their daily lives.

What should we do when things don't go to plan? We may feel mad, frustrated, or overwhelmed, but by talking it through, compromising, and seeing another point of view, we can start fresh, begin anew.

Review Quotes

"As with its predecessor, its strength is again the diversity on display in its pages." -Kirkus Reviews
