Q: So I didn't see any dairy in the ingredients & there are no allergens listed so why isn't this considered "dairy free"?

I completely agree with the most recent reviews. The changes to this item are terrible. My kids used to love these, now they don't want to eat them at all. Everything is different, texture, taste, the way they look... everything. It's terrible, please go back to what you had before Annie's!!

So disappointed in the recent changes! Do not like these new changes!! Annie’s changed the look, packaging, recipe and nutritional value on these bars. My kids and I have loved these bars since probably 2016 and would buy religiously every week…. But they recently changed the ENTIRE product! Packaging is off - the box now looks like the non-gluten free bar’s box, making them hard to differentiate between the two. The wrapper is noticeably “thin” per my kids own words. And worse, the bars themselves now have a worse texture and flavor, and less fiber!!! The old ones use to have 2-3 grams of fiber in them (don’t recall exactly) - which was my main reason for selecting them as an easy source of fiber for the kids and I. But now these have 1 gram, which is equivalent to all the cheap brands that are just filler snacks. It seems like they now use less oatmeal in making these, as the formed consistent texture with obviously visible oatmeal, is now just a mushier, crisped rice with rice syrup texture with small traces of visible oatmeal. I wish I had a picture to show the comparison! I don’t know if the sugar content has increased, but the balance for sweetness is off for us also. We tossed them and will not buy again. We’ve already found a replacement brand for now that has some nutritional value, but would totally switch back if the company brings the old recipe back.

My kids and I used to love these, but it seems the beloved blue box is now a purple box with different shaped bars and new wrappers - like Annie’s changed manufacturers. The frustrating thing is the texture is off and there’s a chemical-like taste that makes the new version unpalatable for my family. The new version also has 10 more calories, but is the same volume, just shaped differently. *Old version bar on top, new on bottom

Tasteless. It’s softy and chewy but that’s the only good things to say about it. Don’t taste the oats or the chocolate. If you had a little bit of cocoa powder and blew it in the direction of some stale oats… then you’d get the same taste of this bar.

These are delicious! I love that there are plenty of chocolate chips, just as advertised & that it's only 7 grams of sugar in a bar! The chewy granola is really good too. You wouldn't know these were gluten free...REALLY! Just another excellent product from Annie's as always.

These taste fine, but there's something not right. I think these have too many oils. Both my husband and I get a lot of coughing and phlegm after eating these. It's almost like oral allergy syndrome. I can't figure out what other ingredient could be the problem. We haven't had issues with other oat based foods.

Bars are really tiny and skimpy on the chocolate chips. Family said it “tastes like a healthy granola bar” (meaning it lacks sugar and flavor). Don’t think I’ll be buying these again. Can make better at home.

I love Annie's other products, but these gluten-free granola bars were very disappointing. They had a weird, almost chemical taste. I think it's the oil that is used. I won't buy these again.
