About the Author

LARRY SITSKY is an internationally acclaimed composer, pianist, musicologist, and teacher and is the Head of Composition Studies at the Australian National University School of Music. His previous publications include Busoni and the Piano: The Works, the Writings, and the Recordings (Greenwood, 1986), The Classical Reproducing Piano Roll: A Catalogue-Index (Greenwood, 1990), and Music of the Repressed Russian Avant-Garde, 1900-1929 (Greenwood, 1994).
