Here is the breakdown of the SIM technology and condition options: 1. The SIM Card Situation The type of SIM you get depends entirely on where the phone was originally sold. Apple uses different hardware for different regions. U.S. Models: These are eSIM-only. They do not have a physical SIM tray at all. You can have Dual eSIM (two lines active at once) and store 8+ eSIM profiles. 2. New vs. Refurbished You can find both on the market right now: Brand New: Available at Apple and major retailers. This is the 2024 flagship, though it has recently been succeeded by the iPhone 17 series.     Bitter Sweet

    Worst and Best IPhone I’ve had thus far. I’m the type that usually waits awhile before upgrading my phone so usually the upgrade is a big upgrade from my last. For example I’m coming off the 13 pro and got the 16 pro max so naturally it’s a better phone…buuuuuuuuutttttt it has major connectivity issues to my car that I don’t experience with the 13. So it’s bitter sweet but more bitter than sweet. Also think they may have slid me a refurbished 16 pro max that got returned early enough that it wouldn’t count as refurbished but that’s another review for another day.

    Powerful Phone With Premium Feel

    The iPhone 16 Pro Max is an excellent upgrade overall. The performance is incredibly fast, the camera system is sharp and reliable, and the battery life easily gets me through a full day. The Black Titanium finish feels premium and durable. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel like some of the improvements are subtle compared to the previous model. Still, it’s a fantastic phone and I’m really happy with it.

    Disappointed

    Unfortunately, I am disappointed with my new IPhone. It has glitches, the battery doesn’t last long and the pictures are just okay. Seriously considering going back to Samsung!

    Trade in and purchase

    The phone is fine, although I thought the battery would be better. I’m more shocked that my trade in has not been processed, as it was received 6 1/2 weeks ago. The website reads “Please allow at least 5 business days for us to complete the inspection.” This seems ridiculous at this point.

    Hard to Adjust to

    I am having trouble getting use to the phone and it's VERY sentive buttons. Somehow the volume changes up and down.Which somehow impacts the volume on alrms. Older versions would not adjust volume for alarms unless you were in the alarm setup. Can turn down when going into a meeting and in meeting blares a call coming in at full volume. I somehow take WAY TOO MANY screenshots without trying.
