These are used
The description doesn't explicitly say "new", but I expected it to be new, like most other products on Target.com, since it doesn't say refurbished, refreshed, or used. It came somewhat dirty. Not hard to clean, but it makes me think it was not refurbished. The back glass had light scratches, but the front was flawless, making me think this had a screen or glass replacement. Battery maximum capacity was 85%. Unlike AppleCare+, the Allstate/SquareTrade protection plan sold with this device will not replace the battery when its maximum capacity falls below 80%. This phone might be fine, but know what you're buying.
