had it and it was really pepper and Spicy and made my tummy hurt

This meat had such a bitter and oily aftertaste that I literally couldn't eat it lol not sure if it went rancid? Basically inedible right after purchase.

Not great! Way too much garlic in it. I wouldn’t buy it again.

It's good but it tastes the exact same as cheaper brands. If anything other brands have a stronger flavor. If you want that pepper taste I would recommend just adding it yourself!

The Applegate Naturals Peppered Genoa Salami has a really tasty and balanced peppery flavor! Since starting my Ketogenic diet 2 months ago, I am a lot more aware of the quality of food I put in my body. I heard a lot of good things about Applegate Farms products about being made with clean ingredients, which makes it a much healthier option than a lot of deli meats on the market. I enjoy making egg wrap sandwiches with cheese or just having a serving out of the package. I will try more Applegate Naturals products in the future!

While I prefer regular non peppered salami this was delicious. Fresh tasting and the pepper wasn't overwhelming. If I could say anything I wish the package were bigger because it's so good. Like to eat this on its own or add to my charcuterie board.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Applegate naturals peppered Genoa salami. No nitrates added ( so there are still nitrates from natural ingredients ( gluten & casein free. First it says peppered & there was hardly any pepper flavor or pieces of peppercorn some slices had none at all. Upon opening the package it smelled sour so I checked the date & it wasn't expired I tried 2 slices by themselves the flavor was strange tasted sour & salty. I had my boyfriend try it he also didn't care for it we both tried with cracker & cheese being that's the way we love to eat salami as a snack nope still not good was disappointed. Don't bother wasting your money I would not recommend at all. The smell alone makes you think it's rancid so weird.
