like the scent, I mix with regular Hardball litter

2 cats, 2 litter boxes. Trying A&H Fresh Effects. Both cats use the new lightweight litter. One seems to prefer it. Pros : Lightweight, easy to carry NO DUST, a big plus Nice solid clumps that don't break apart when sifting Cons: Aroma of litter can be overpowering Tracks all over the house like the clay Doesn't really eliminate poo smell, just covers it up with its own strong scent Undecided if I will purchase again.

I got both versions of this & my 6 yr old cat did not like either so she started going pee outside the box which she hasn’t done since she was a kitten (even though ive tried different litters). Idk if it’s the texture or what, but she would only poop in the box after getting this. Won’t purchase again.

Stay away! It is like a sand texture…all the urine turns to a gel clump and gets stuck to the litter box. Even stainless steel, which is usually super easy to clean! It also smells terrible as soon as your cats use it. I was gagging scooping our litter boxes. Ended up going back to our old litter within a week. Not worth the $4 in savings with the coupon attached.

At first i loved this litter. After 2 days all the urine geled up on the bottom of the box and i had to scrap it off. I use a stainless steel box and never had this issue. But it does well with order control Just not very good for urine in my opinion.

The hard ball clumping feature in this arm and hammer cat litter works so good at keeping the litter box cleaner longer.I am receiving points toward rewards in the Kitty Krew Community for writing this review. All opinions are my own.

Best litter I’ve ever used! Cats love it. Smells amazing. Clumps very well. Very light weight. Once again, I love the smell. Won’t ever change litters again!

AWFUL. tracks everywhere and does not cover up the smell. i switched from the multi-cat to this, but im going to go back to the multi-cat after this

This litter is great. It keeps cat box odor in check. It's expensive, but worth it.

Clumps are firm and easy to remove. But does not decrease smell at all. Would not recommend.

This cat litter smells so strong in the box that I am returning it. It’s that classic “cat litter” fresh scent so people thinking that it keeps their house smelling cat free are kidding themselves. So gross.

This review was collected as part of a promotion. I have used the Arm & Hammer Fresh Effects for 2 weeks. The first time I poured it into the litter box I noticed it was very powdery and had a nice floral smell. The smell was not offensive to me. Soon after the litter was put into the litter box on the first day, my cat urinated outside the box on the floor. I thought this could be because she was not used to a new litter with a new texture and odor. I left the litter in the box to see if she would get used to it, and there were no more accidents after the first day. I found that the litter was easy to scoop out of the litter box, the urine was absorbed well by the litter, and all odors were absorbed by the litter. The only negative is that the powdery litter comes out on her paws and lands on the floor next to the litter box. I would purchase it again.

The litter is easy to sift through because it is lightweight. The cats transitioned from using the clay litter to this easily. #ad #sponsored

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter is very lightweight and it is easy to pour into the litter box. It releases a fresh scent when pouring it into the litter box but it is not overpowering nor does it perfume the whole room which could be off-putting to cats. Odor is pretty well controlled, no urine smells although occasionally there are some poo odors as the litter doesn't completely cover/stick to solids. Urine clumps up great into little "hat" shapes that are easy to scoop from the box and don't crumble leaving bits behind in the box. One box of litter lasts a long time, after 3 weeks scooping daily there is still more than half the box left, even after adding 3-4 inches of litter to the box. No dust but it does stick to my cat's paws and track a bit outside the box, it is more of a finer texture than other litters. I think my cat prefers the Arm & Hammer Double Duty, maybe because of the larger grain texture. #ad
