Working as a reporter at the Adoration Times, a newspaper solely focused on weddings and love, Sorcha has become disillusioned with the romantic complex after her latest breakup. To make matters worse, Adoration is transferring ownership over to the brooding CEO Dmitri Darlington. When Dmitri offers Sorcha a promotion in exchange for teaching him her reporter ways, she has no choice but to say yes. Sorcha concocts a plan to make Dmitri fall in love to ease his irritable temperament.
Just as Sorcha bargains for Dmitri to move into an apartment with her for her plans to unfold, she is sent on assignment to a destination wedding in Monterey, California by her boss---and forced to bring Dmitri along. With nowhere to run, Sorcha is finally forced to confront her OCD fears...with a person she'd never expect.
