A lovely light, but…
We placed this pendant lamp in a hallway and found it to hang uncomfortably low. The listed height (11.5 inches) is misleading. At least one of the supplied down rods must be used because the base and lamp both have male fittings. That makes the minimum height of the pendant 17.5 inches plus the 1.5 inch height of the base, making the total height around 19 inches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought three of these lights to go above the island in my kitchen. Assembly was easy and the lights look exactly as depicted. Adds a great flair to our craftsman style home.
