    Warning: Razor Burn Ahead

    Gave this thing a 6 month shot and I’m giving up. The handle itself is cute and the construction feels sturdy, the positives pretty much end there for me. The neck of the thing is very stiff and doesn’t flex going around contours which makes it pretty useless for anything other than calves and thighs. While it does give a close shave, it’s not worth the razor burn. Like…the worst razor burn I’ve ever had in my life. By the time the itching and burning stops, it’s time to shave again, so I’ve just stopped shaving anything moderately sensitive. Perhaps the close shave is worth it for some, but I’d rather have a less close shave and not be agonizingly itchy for a week.

    It’s fantastic! As a late 30s gal I have tried them all… any razor works alright but this one is really great! I use a very light hand to get the smoothest shave, no cuts or burns. With the auto delivery I don’t even have to think about shopping for razors again.

    terrible razor! does NOT flex at all. cut myself every time I used. I thought it was just me, but my daughters had the same issue. we all got these for Christmas, and I hate them. do NOT recommend! I also had very itchy legs every time I used.

    I’ve been a customer for years now. I would love to simply have the razor available for single purchase, without signing up for a monthly subscription. It’s frustrating that the only way to replace my broken razor is by signing up for another subscription when the one I have is working great- an annual shipment. I would have purchased 2 razors - one for travel one for home- but due to your system I can’t, and won’t sign up again, for a third subscription only to have to keep jumping through hoops to cancel 2 subscriptions. Perhaps this is a way to try to con customers out of money-by forcing them to sign up for more and hoping they forget to cancel??

    Made the switch!

    I finally switched from Flamingo to Athena Shave razors and it was the right choice. They come in fun colors, but also give such a great shave. I have sensitive skin and I am able to shave without fear of redness or bumps because I only have to run over each spot one time (rather than 2+ with my other razor). Highly recommend!
