I give it a try amd it was a bad decision Athena Razor doesn't stay in place the Magnetic hook doesn't stick to long in the shower tub the hydrating gel fades away quickly.

I had the travel sized
I had the travel sized razor and loved it, so I decided to switch my regular venus razor to this. Paired with the shave oil gets such a smooth shave, no nicks. The only reason I'd give 4 vs 5 stars is after using it for a while now I wish that the handle (which the color is stunning) had grips like rubber grips or something to be able to hold a bit sturdier, it's a little slippery, especially with that shave oil.

Not a close shave
I bought this after hearing great reviews and wanting to switch up from my men’s (mistake). I used it the “right way” and it felt like a dull razor to me. It didn’t get a close shave I still felt prickly and it knicked me a few times even though I was extremely careful. I had to go back over my leg with my men’s razor because it just was not it. I love it because of the color but performance wise was just not as good. Granted maybe I had a bad set or something so no hate but I wouldn’t buy this again!

Love this razor!
I’m super prone to razor bumps and have very sensitive skin. I have tried every popular razor brand (Billie, Flamingo, Venus, Harry’s), you name it. I’m only a couple uses in with the Athena razor and I absolutely love it! It glides over my skin significantly better and my skin has no bumps or irritation like usual. I’ll be interested to see how the blades hold up, but so far I’m obsessed!

Great appearance, not great blades
I love the magnetic razor holder and the look of the razor. I do not like the blade that much. This is the only razor that’s actually given me razor cuts, when used with the Eos creamy non-foaming shaving cream, which I’m not a fan of either. I wish I could use other razor blades with this razor handle.

The quality of the blades
The quality of the blades seems to have gone down quite a bit since Athena first started. My blades seems to lose the edge after only a couple of shaves. My older blades that I just "found" under my sink last at least 8 shaves before they were uncomfortable.

not my favorite razor
although this razor shaves really well, it is not suitable for sensitive skin. about every time i shave, i get severe razor burn and severe, painful irritation. the shaving cream is fine and works well, but i will not be using this product again.
