[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was trying forever to come up with a way to take a photo of this with a breakfast, but it came to me that I don’t eat breakfast. There was only one in the sample pack, so it’s not like I had many I could work with it especially because it was sent to me a while ago and my tasks wouldn’t unlock. I feel like this is a good food replacement in a sense or will at least help you with certain protein goals— my only downside is that I can definitely taste the fake sugar in it, and it bothers me.

On the positive side, the texture is actually really nice. It has that layered, dessert-inspired look with the brownie base, a softer middle, and a creamy coating. It feels like it should be a little treat, and it’s definitely filling for its size. The macros are great too — high protein, low sugar, low net carbs — so it checks a lot of boxes if you’re trying to stay on track. But the big downside for me was the flavor. I really wanted to love it, but the protein taste was pretty strong. It had that noticeable “protein bar” aftertaste that kind of lingers, and it took away from the whole brownie vibe. Even though the texture was good, the flavor just didn’t match what I was hoping for, and it made it harder to enjoy. Overall, it’s not a bad bar by any means — it’s convenient, filling, and has great nutritional stats. It just didn’t work for my taste buds. I probably wouldn’t repurchase this specific flavor because the protein aftertaste was too much for me.

I purchased it again after receiving this.

The texture is comparable to any other protein bar, but there is an aftertaste I can't quite put my finger on. This isn't for me, and I wouldn't purchase. I have tired other Atkins products in thr past, so this is familiar to say the least.
