About the Author
Stepanka Sekaninova used to work as a TV reporter and in the production of children's programs. Now she is a writer and an editor-in-chief, living in the Czech Republic.
Jana Sedlackova is a children's book author who graduated from the School of Textile Design and Management. In her free time, she enjoys singing in choirs and decorating gingerbread during Christmastime. Her work is driven by the belief that everyone is searching for the perfect fairytale. She hails from Brno, Czech Republic.
Ester Dobiasova is an author of children's books who finds inspiration in nature and the freedom of imagination. She dreams of roaming the world like Snufkin from Moominvalley - with only a few things, an open heart, and a home to return to. She admires the works of Shaun Tan and Daisy Mrazkova for their honesty, depth, and connection to nature. Through her writing, she hopes to protect the natural world and the animals she loves. She lives in Czechia.
Marcel Kralik is an illustrator of children's books and a freelance visual artist. After studying business in Bratislava, Slovakia, he co-founded Outsider Development, a studio focused on video game graphics, where he worked as lead artist. Since 2013, he has been freelancing, creating illustrations, concept art, and texture paintings for various projects. He is especially passionate about character design, cartooning, and drawing for children. He lives in Bratislava, Slovakia.
