Each piece is soft and savory and holds up well for toast or any sandwich you’d like to make. I’ve used it for toast & jelly, and a variety of my favorite sandwiches including turkey, chicken salad, ham and of course, PB & J. Aunt Millie’s loaves stay good for a long time, and are even good to freeze and then use the thawed pieces. The 100% whole wheat makes it a good source of fiber, while keeping it lower in sugar and carbs. Aunt Millie’s 100% Whole Wheat Bread has everything I desire in a bread that I use every day! It toasts beautifully, holds up great with peanut butter or deli meats, and doesn’t fall apart like some thinner breads. Even the kids are into it—and it pairs perfectly with a cold glass of milk.
