This lavender body lotion has a nourishing non-greasy formula that absorbs quickly for lasting moisture throughout the day and is from Aveeno a dermatologist recommended brand.
I have like other Aveeno lotions, and I like lavender so I thought this would be a win-win, but the scent is so overpowering I can't use this lotion! It does not smell much like lavender at all and the smell is so strong it actually hurts my nose.
I don't love this product. Generally I really like Aveeno products, but this one isn't at the top of my list. I think the formula is a tad greasier than I'd normally like, and the scent of the lavender doesn't seem quite right to me. It gets the job done, but I won't buy again.

Keep this lotion but make changes! I like the lotion a lot, and it smells good at a distance but the smell is too strong on my hands. Can you please lessen the strength of the fragrance down to 50%? Better yet, many of us consumers would actually prefer a little bit of the real ylang ylang/chamomile/lavender essential oils as a LIGHT touch/small whiff of scent rather than A LOT of the synthetic fragrance. PLEASE consider using only essential oils instead. This is actually how I got the lotion- my friend who has sensitive skin was unable to use this lotion due to the strong synthetic fragrance.
This lotion’s scent: high on stress, low on relief

I have chronic, incurable, hard-to-manage illnesses and needed some “treat yo’self” as part of my evening wind-down routine. Edema-reducing massage is part of the PT I have to do and it’s taken a lot of trial and error to find a lotion. I like the consistency of, but wasn’t completely sold on the scent of, the Aveeno Calming Comfort baby lotion, so I decided to try this. The baby products are sealed so there’s no way to sniff before purchasing. I should have listened to Past Me, who had previously said No Way to the scent of this lotion (not sealed, sniffable in store) on multiple occasions. However, my first impression of the Calming Comfort lotion was “bathroom cleaner,” and it’s growing on me, so I thought I’d try this to see if I like it.
Me liking it is a moot point, as this lotion, Stress Relief for grown-ups, does not like me.
When I use the Calming Comfort lotion, I feel like I can relax. My muscles are able to relax, and they usually aren’t able to do so. This? I’m trying to get away from myself, which is causing me even more neuro-musculo-skeletal pain, not counting the migraine I now have brewing. I couldn’t really tell how terrible this would be until I’d used it and tried to sleep in this cloud of additional stress.
The consistency of this lotion is good and doesn’t cause any skin irritation. I didn’t want to rate this too low as the problem is less with it and more with the fact that I decided to try it—YMMV. However, I’m pretty sure there’s nothing “lavender” about this except the color of the badging. Perhaps whoever the olfactory expert in charge of this mistook “lilac bomb at the grandma convention” for “lavender.” I can’t believe I prefer the baby bathroom cleaner Calming Comfort scent to this assault of “stress relief”, but I do.
I have followed my shower with moisturizing for the past 50 years (yes, I'm old.) Having moved to the Midwest, with a sealed up house running on air conditioning or heating most of the year, my old go-to lotion just wasn't cutting it. I discovered Aveeno and am so relieved to have regained the soft skin I've always had. It is a bit heavy for summertime, when sweating seems to provide its own moisture. But once we're sealed up for the winter, Aveeno is my go-to to keep my skin soft and comfortable.
First time I have used the Aveeno Stress Relief Moisturizing Lotion. I purchased this because I could not find the Aveeno I wanted in the jar, which was the skin relief moisturizer. I don't really care for pump lotions. This Stress Relief was a good price, and I thought I would try it. I have used it for a few days and I don't think it moisturizes as good as the skin relief moisturizer. I don't see where this has any calming effect at all.
