Description
Capture attention and create a lasting impression with Avery 5302 customizable place cards you can print yourself. This 160-pack of 2" x 3.5" blank cards is made from heavyweight uncoated white cardstock (65 lbs / 176 gsm). The 8.5" x 11" sheets are micro-perforated for quick separation and smooth edges, and they stay flat during printing. Our patented Sure Feed technology helps alignment and reduces printer jams. The printable cards are optimized for both laser and inkjet printers and feature Print-to-the-Edge capability for full-bleed designs to the edge of the cards. Easy to use and reasonably priced
I ordered Avery tent cards to use as place cards at my daughter‘s wedding dinner. Avery’s template software made it easy to add a graphic to apply to all of the cards, then add individual names to each card and print them. They turned out beautifully.

Tent cards worked great. I think the paper has changed a bit since the last time I used these. The perforated lines could be a little sharper and easier to pull apart. Overall great product. Using the only Avery Design support made it easy to make these place cards double sided.

IF you don't need images OR docx OR more than one page, good product
Don't download the Word doc file unless you're only going to put text on the tents. I'm an admin assistant making 20+ dinner namecards. There is no way to make more than 4 of these at a time, so adding a new page results in botching up the formatting. In addition to that, I have a colored background which the doc template will not let me paste more than once. Please fix and update your template so that those of us who are using modern MS Office products can actually do more than one page of tent cards, format a background, and otherwise make a more intuitive product for creators.

We do apologize that you had trouble creating your tent cards in MS Word. There are certain limitations in the Word program that do prevent you from adding sheets for tent card products. Our free Design and Print Online program does give you the ability to add multiple sheets to a project and add color and images as well. Used to be Better
I am an admin assistant and have to constantly used these tent cards. I purchase them from office depot and have noticed a change in the design. Now when the card is folded horizontally it snaps. It should just be scored but not completely perforated but no matter what adjustments I make they just snap in half leaving me to tape each and every one by hand. When i have a few hundred for a dinner party you can imagine how tedious this gets. What happened?

difficult to separate
i'm ready to find a different solution and am surprised this product has such a good rating. i just printed 300 dinner place cards. they don't separate well. had to use a hand cutter. the horizontal break works very well. the vertical break is the challenge. no matter how many times i folded back and forth, i was left with jagged, rough edges.

This is a pretty standard, good product. What I like is how easy they are to line-up and print on. It makes organizing name tent cards a breeze when the printing process goes smoothly. Would recommend.

Please make templates for InDesign or Illustrator!
I downloaded the template for Word to use on my Mac. I need to make place cards for 500 people. The template does not allow tabbing from card to card, so flowing names from Excel will not work so I would need to copy and paste each one; it does not allow inserting additional pages (the online forum hints for doing that don't work), so I would have to create 125 individual documents to complete this task. It also does not have the name on the back side of the tent upside down so that it would be correct when folded, so two sided table tents are also out of the question. I can't save as a pdf to insert into a design program, since the pdf comes out blank. My only recourse is to make a screen shot of the template and place as a background in InDesign. Those who are on a PC may have more luck with the Avery toolbar, but if you are on a Mac and want to create a file for a client to print out on the Avery product, be prepared for frustration.

Set up a tent for any occasion!
These small tent cards have come in handy for me on many occasions, including labeling hors d'oeuvres on a buffet table for a wedding reception, creating tags for gift baskets and cards on a pick for flower arrangements/plants given as gifts. These small tent cards rock!

Awesome Multiple Uses
I purchased these tent cards and use them as a mini brochure that can attach to literature or send with a product. I can the logo on the front; my info and product info or instructions on each inside and have the back side for other information or ideas or suggestions! Thanks, Avery!
