As other rewevers mentioned, brown is more gray. It looks somewhat brownish in the bright day light, but dark geay with no hint of brown in electric light. White stitching is a bit sloppy and looks like a mismatch for velvety fabric. Would probably look way better on more casual linen-like fabric. Other than that, it's firmly stuffed and very comfortable.

Sorry to say, the white stitching on the top of the ottoman is not finished very well, wish it was on the bottom. Other than that- super cool, good height, great color ...

It came fast (5 days) and in great packaging with a protective cover. The fabric is corduroy and denim in color. Its big enough for an adult to sit on. I am a plus size 5"6 so it is nice and big. I purchased them for extra seating in front of my fireplace but I'm certain they will also be great ottomans.

I ordered the brown ottoman and was surprised when it came - it's more of a dark gray. A gray version of this ottoman used to be stocked here so I wondered if they sent me the wrong color, but that was a very light gray and the ottoman is dark. Didn't bother returning because it still fits with the room, and is good quality. I get a lot of compliments on it as well.
