The scent has been changed to "spearmint and wildberry" but they try to pass it off as just as good. No, it isn't. It's rubbish now. I recommend not getting any of it.

The new Spearmint & Wildberry scent is awful. Please bring back Crushed Mint & Rosemary, it smelled so much better. 1 STAR = SPEARMINT & WILDBERRY 5 STARS = CRUSHED MINT & ROSEMARY

Bought the body wash and deodorant and opened the packaging before realizing that they changed the "Phoenix" scent to Wild Berry. I was able to return the body wash, but not the deodorant. Extremely disappointed in the new scent. It is very unpleasant. After using the body wash for over 15 years, the Axe brand has lost a very loyal customer. I will not be returning to Axe unless they backtrack the scent change.

I love the original scent of phoenix on my man. This is his go to. It is almost like a manly pine forest type scent on him. However recently the scent has changed and dear God what have you done? Previously As I said it was a pine like smell on the bottle described as “rosemary and mint?” I believe and now the scent is labeled different notes and smells what I can only describe as what some manufactures Like to call “Winterberry” during Christmas season with promotional scents. No longer is there that woodsy manly smell, but something I can only describe would be sold to tween girls around Christmas time with snowflakes and glitter adorning the bottle. I tried to use it being that he won’t and I can’t stand the smell of it either. It’s one case where the aroma clings and you wish that once rinsed down the drain it would be a distant memory only to linger on haunting you through surprise wafts throughout the day. Before I would have rated this product much higher. Now I implore anyone thinking of purchasing this to take a stroll down a nearby store isle and take a deep whiff before purchasing and ask your self if you really want to smell like this all day or be around your man or teen smelling winterballs.. I’m sorry winterberry type smells all day. But that’s my 2 “sense” worth 🤮

This New Spearmint & Wild berry smells horrible, If I could give it Negative Stars I would. Axe Please Change it back. I will not be Purchasing your Bodywash until you do

I've been using the Phoenix scent for like 15 years, and now they've changed the scent. It's not Rosemary and Crushed Mint anymore (like it still says on every web page everywhere). It's now Spearmint and Wild Berry. New scent is horrible and to strong. Looking elsewhere, until original Rosemary and Crushed Mint comes back.

The new scent is a downgrade in every way. Not only does it make me smell like a pretty princess. My wife hates it. And on top of that I think I'm allergic to the new formula. They clearly didn't have the guts to release this in a new sku so they ruined an old one. Also it's oddly slippery now and leaves an ugly film on your skin.

I've been using Phoenix Body Wash (Crushed Mint & Rosemary) for well over 10 years and absolutely loved it. The new Spearmint & Wild Berry scent is horrible. I washed with it twice and couldn't stand smelling myself. I keep ordering what is advertised as Crushed Mint & Rosemary from my online retailer, only to keep receiving the Spearmint & Wild Berry, which I keep having to return. I am now fed up with this nonsense and will be searching for a new body wash. Axe... what were you thinking??

The new scent is absolute garbage. The Crushed Mint And Rosemary scent can't be purchased anywhere. If you try to order it online, they send the new scent and you have to send it back and wait for a refund. Why would you change something that makes you money? I have used the Crushed Mint And Rosemary since it came out. Now I can't find it anywhere. There's not even a spot on the shelf for it. I'm highly disappointed in the decision to stop supplying retail stores with this product.

Adding to the reviews, I've used Phoenix for over 15 years. It's always been great. Current scent is terrible, gives me headaches. I can't use it. Bring back the old crushed mint and rosemary sent!

Been using axe phoenix for years and just bought the new change and its smells terrible please bring back the old one but for now it is time to find new bodywash

You changed the scent from crushed mint and rosemary to spearmint and wild berry. Such a bad idea!

I used to like it. Always bought the big bulk pack. Much to my surprise, they changed the formula and now it smells terrible. Smells like patchouli. I don't know who's idea that was but I won't be buying it anymore.

Been buying phoenix for years. The new scent is horrible and way to strong. My women even complains about it and others say ita to strong and smells bad as well. Please change it back or make both.

The recent change to spearmint and wild berry is a huge departure from your tried-and-true formula. I have returned the repulsive new blend and will depart from Axe. What on earth are you thinking?

This was a 5 star product but the new smell is terrible . I will start off saying I used Phoenix for 20+ years. Got countless compliments from girls over the years about the smell so I know it was good. Just got a new 2 pack and as soon as I opened it in the shower I knew something was off. It smells very strong and what was added actually kind of make me nauseous every time I put my hands or arm near my face. It is really that bad. I pray they go back to the old scent eventually, but until then I don’t know what I will use because I’m not sure I can put this on my skin every day to use up the two bottle I just got. most other brands also have that awful cologne smell. Please change it back!
