Q: Why does this say "Mens body wash"? As a woman, I've been using this for so long as a deodorant soap in conjunction with a moisturizing body wash. Why is this being marketed as if it's just for men now?

A: Hi, thanks for the question. Just to clarify, the Target item description has the words, “For Men,” but they aren’t on our label. Our Irish Spring Original Clean Body Wash is for everyone who wants to get Irish Spring clean!

The last three bottles of this product were impossible to use with the provided pump. The pump was stuck down and needed to be broken in order to provide any soap. I, luckily had a spent bottle in my trash can and used the functioning pump from it in the new units after struggling to unscrew the pump from the old ones. I like the soap but am unsure about buying any more after using up my current stash (I had to buy a two-pack.)

The product with exfoliating changed names a while back. I usually buy a year or two worth of soap. This new scent is missing the classic Irish Spring Scent. I won’t buy again.

I would have never purchased this product if I had known it has some kind of beads in it. It says nothing about them on the plastic container that I can see. I can feel them on the souls of my feet and have to clean them off of my shower floor after showering. It doesn't lather as much as other Irish spring body washes. I wish I could return it as I will not be using the rest of it and I hate knowing that the beads going down the drain end up in the sanitary system.

Sure. On the top of the bottle is a snap-lid with a tab that sticks out over the edge of the cap. The tab is facing the rear label. Push up on the tab with your thumb, and it will lift up.

Out of the last 6 bottles or so that I have bought, 4 of them had pumps that wouldn't raise and were thus completely unusable. This of course is over the span of several months as I don't have to buy body wash super often. Absolutely ridiculous. Once or twice can just be a mishap but not at this point. And the fact it has gone on for so long now without being fixed or addressed is inexcusable. Companies don't seem to care about quality in their products anymore.

Irish spring is my husband’s favorite so he was super excited to get this scrub and used it right away, and it’s absolutely fantastic. Smells nice and not overpowering, you get nice clean feeling and it’s helps to clean up skin, especially in his line of work, he needs to make sure everything is washed away. No irritation or any issues, clean nice smell, he loves it plus size is great so he won’t run out too quickly. High quality body wash with scrub, I like the smell on him.
