This stuff is great for detoxifying your skin. I mixed it with regular apple cider vinegar, smeared it on my face & let it dry. Getting it off is a pain so use a washcloth or just take a shower afterwards. I have dry skin so I followed up with a honey moisturizing mask and thick vitamin e serum and moisturizer to balance out. Blackheads on my nose cleared up around the third use. My skin feels tighter and my skin tone has improved. I have a sun spot & some scars from acne which have faded since using this product. If you have sensitive skin start by leaving it on ten minutes the first couple of times and work your way up to the full 20-30 minutes. You should feel tingling and pulsing. Remember, this is sucking out impurities and buildup on your skin which gets the circulation going. This is normal. Also be patient & dont expect over night results. Your scars, spots and buildup took time to get there so getting rid of them will too. I started 3-4 times a week until I saw results I wanted then scaled it to 1-2 times a week to maintain said results. I tried it on my hair but it’s not for me hair-wise. I have bleached and dyed hair which is not recommended to use so unless you want fried, dry and straw-like hair, those with bleached and chemically treated hair should avoid using it on their hair. My kids (who have bad acne) also used it and liked it. Their acne cleared up and it did not irritate their skin. Remember, pulsing and tingling is normal when using this product. Burning is not. Theres a difference. It’s not for everyone but for me, it’s great and I would recommend it. I will be purchasing a third one soon.

I’ve been using this clay for years now and absolutely love it! It has so many uses! 1- I love this as a under arm detox! If you are switching to a natural deodorant then you have to detox your under arms prior to switching to the natural or the natural deodorant will not work. I actually use this in place of deodorant, using it twice a month to detox. When mixed with Bragg apple coder vinegar it kills the bacteria that causes under arm odor thus leaving you with little to no under arm b.o.! If I shower in the morning, my pits are still fresh by bed! 2- I recently started using the clay on the bottom of my feet. My heels were dry/cracked from the weather and so I applied the clay for 15 minutes and then moisturized after with gold bond.the next morning my heels looked and felt amazing! The rest of my foot was soft as well. 3- I will randomly use this on my face and when I say random I mean months in between. A part of good skin is keeping it hydrated and since this mask will dry you out it’s best to not to grab for this too often. This does leave my face slightly red in some areas, but the redness is gone within hours- needless to say I don’t recommend using this before leaving the house! I read a review that said it makes pores larger- this is false, if you notice they look bigger it is likely because your skin was irritated from the mask 4- I have never used it for acne, but my girlfriend swears that this was the key to helping her adult acne/scars. If it is your first time using it here are some tips- mix with bragg apple cider vinegar and do not keep it on your face for the recommended time- instead work your way up to it with a few applications to see how your face tolerates it. This clay will dry out your face if you do not moisturize after it is rinsed off.

Awful experience. I had a few stubborn pimples on my cheek and purchased this item after seeing so many positive reviews. After the second use, my entire face broke out like I have never seen...there were tiny bumps all over my face and it worsened those pimples. It's been weeks since I've last used this product and my skin still looks bad... I've never had bumps like this before and want to be clear that I have never had actual acne, just a few pimples here and there...I really hope this clears eventually. Would not recommend.

This is the best. My skin looks amazing and tight. Definitely mix with acv, not water, for best results in my opinion. Idk if the pictures helpfulbor not, but I had a lot of blackheads on my nose and around my lips, and they're all basically gone

I used mixed with ACV instead of water and it literally pulled ALL of my blackheads on my forehead to the surface. It's quite drying so if you have dry skin definitely moisturize after but for the most part it's so good. I don't have pics but source: dude trust me

I always bought masks that were a couple dollars but I wanted to try something new to clean out my pores. I heard good things of this product. So I tried it, left it on for 10 min and it worked wonders. My clogged pores on my chin were gone! I had struggled with it for a while and this helped!

I’ve been using this mask for a very long time and like it better than any of the other masks I have tried. I found a small 4 ounce glass jar at a health food store and I make my mask up in little batches. I pour apple cider vinegar into the jar first, about half full. Then I add tea tree oil to that… one squirt… and then I add spoonfuls of the clay until I get the consistency I want. It does bubble up, but that calms down once it is stirred well. This mask feels good as it dries… I like the pulsating feel, and I like the pink glow after it is washed off. It has helped keep my skin problems at bay and it’s a good price.

Rinsing or disposing the excess clay? Not down my sink!

4 out of 5 stars
Rachel - 7 months ago, Verified purchaser
First off, I read a number of reviews and they’re very good so I was really excited about trying this, as i was preparing the clay for the first time it occurred to me that I have no clue how to dispose of the excess clay or even what I’ll need to rinse off my face. Pouring clay down the drain sounds like a really bad idea, maybe not such a big idea if you’re married to a plumber or something but as I’m not, I did some with fast googling while the mask is drying. I rinsed it off over a bowl then tossed it in the grass and wiped the excess out into the trash. If I find that it really improves my skin I’ll deal with that. But I was really surprised it wasn’t mentioned in the reviews or description. I read multiple articles saying not to rinse it down the sink and had this happened prior to me becoming a home owner or simply not being a somewhat impulse youngster I probably would’ve clogged my sink. Maybe I’m overreacting but clogging my drains is not something i want to risk. I’m focusing my review on this aspect! About the actual product… I just tried it for the first time and my skin really does look and feel cleaner. I have pretty bad adult hormonal cystic acne so my hope was that this will help long term.

I have been using this mask since 2008. It is a deep pore cleansing mask and when you add vinegar you can feel your face pulsate. This is a major key; when you want to wash the mask off, use a hot towel first. I just lay a hot (not burning hot) towel on my face and press the towel all over. Do this maybe 3 times (or more) to soften up the mask. Then gently wash the mask off. Don’t scrub a hard mask off you face! After the mask is off rise with cold water and dry your face. Your face will be red, but it will only last for 30 minutes to an hour. After your face is dry for about 20 minutes add aloe Vera gel (I use the plant). You can rise the gel off later or leave it on. If the mask is to hard/abrasive for you, add organic honey or aloe Vera when adding the vinegar/water, the mask won’t be as strong.
