I am very disappointed. I bought this stroller based on the description that there were many available compatible accessories, but the child snack tray and car seat adapters have all been discontinued.

How can I give this a lesser rating than one. I jogged with this and it slipped and turned. Thankfully my kid is ok. I got the bar to the shins and it doesn’t feel good. This product isn’t safe for anyone.

Thanks for your feedback! The City Mini GT2 is not a jogging stroller. Baby Jogger is the brand. However, not all Baby Jogger strollers are jogging strollers. There is only one true Jogging stroller, the Summit X3. We hope this helps! Thank you

This WAS my favorite stroller 13 years ago and figured I would buy it again. Big mistake! I hate all the updates. The brake is in a weird spot, it’s much heavier than it used to be, the basket is inaccessible (it used to have snaps!!), and you used to be able to open and close with one hand, the car seat adapter is junky and falls off when you close the stroller. The updates make me want to get rid if it.

I am so disappointed to be writing this review. We had heard great things about the Citi Mini GT and were hoping it could be a great On-The-Go stroller option. However we have been sorely disappointed. Where do I even start? The storage basket is impossible to access, you can hardly fit anything down there. The brake is hard to find and difficult to close/open. The harness is IMPOSSIBLE. And ours is already stuck after one month using. Baby hates getting in and out. Others have mentioned this but the stroller is in basically in permanent recline so baby can’t look out. The approved adapters with our Nuna car seat are very unstable - felt like seat was shaking and swaying and would fall off. In an awkward position because my MIL bought for us and I have to tell her we will never be using our very expensive stroller.

Pops up in 10 seconds with pulling of seat, durable and bigger wheels allow for traversing uneven terrain easily
Great stroller, but don't buy it.

This is a fantastic stroller. I have a luxury 4 wheeled stroller and a Bob. This is the one I reach for the most. I have the belly bar and parent console, and am very happy with them, and the stroller itself. The push is great, it handles terrain well (not as easily as the Bob, but still, very easily), the textiles are soft and feel nice. The under storage is just okay, but it’s not nearly as difficult as some reviewers would have you believe. I regularly put my diaper bag in it without issue. The sun shade is deep, and the brakes work well. However, Baby Jogger as a brand refuses to listen to its customer base, and has unfortunately permanently discontinued accessories for this stroller, making it overall obsolete if things like the belly bar, car seat adapters, and snack bar are important to you. Not only that, their customer service is seriously lacking, and their overall response to concerns about accessories is, “too bad.” It used to be a great brand, but once 2020 hit, things really went downhill. It’s disappointing, and for that reason, I don’t recommend that you invest in this relatively expensive stroller brand.
Great!

I used this stroller with one of my nanny babies and have mixed feelings. Pros: Very smooth push on variety of terrains. Loved how the foot rest could prop up. Handle has a nice grip to it and is easy to adjust Cons: The basket is a deal breaker. You can barely access it because of the bar in front of it. The seat also sits far back. The buckles are difficult to get used to. Even though I used this almost every day, I still hated having to deal with them. I would look at other options before choosing this

This stroller is awful. The storage underneath is impossible to reach and super limited space, the clasps to strap the baby in are the cheapest plastic with the worst design imaginable, the accessories are all discontinued. Buy Uppa Baby. This brand, and this stroller are trash. Worst purchase I’ve made in a very long time.

Don't bother buying this stroller if you want accessories to make it functional. Snack tray? Obsolete. No plans from the company to update or make anything compatible, just planned obsolescence so they can make more money. I would have never chosen this model if I had known it would be so useless.

Ultimately irritating

Pro: It's very easy to maneuver across rough terrain and folds very easily. Con: the storage bin is small and impossible to access from the front or back, its not self standing when folded, and can tip fairly easily because the diaper bag essentially has to hang off the handle bar. But the thing that tips this stroller into irritating is that the does not come with a belly bar and the company has discontinued both the belly bar and snack tray so you CANNOT purchase it yourself anywhere. Why do they continue to sell an item without supporting its accessories? I don't understand their production decisions and I won't be buying baby jogger anymore.

We appreciate you sharing your experience with us! We are always looking for ways to improve, and appreciate all of your feedback and insight, thank you for your time! Parcels or accessory items, or both, placed on the unit may cause the unit to become unstable. Any load attached to the handle affects the stability of the stroller. We hope this information helps!
BABY JOGGER HAS CHANGED HOW I SEE THE WORLD

I don’t like to spend much on things like strollers because I’m one of those that feel like if it can get the job done, it’s fine. But THIS WAS SO WORTH IT! And has taught me to not settle. The compact size of it, the easiness of opening/closing and most importantly, the smooth ride!!! Not to forget the sleek look. It’s my favorite baby purchase now & look forward to purchasing more products.

My sister has had her city mini for over 9 years and with three boys. We absolutely love it so when I was building my registry there was no question this would be my stroller. Upon set up I became extremely disappointed when realizing that my infant car seat could only attach if the sun shade was removed. With the older style a Chicco car seat would fit with the sun shade allowing the infant to be covered and protected from the sun. The newer model leaves my infant open to the sun with no option to protect him. Also, the car seat attachment has to be removed every time the stroller is folded. On the older models, the attachment was very different and could stay on while folded. It’s just a big hassle having to carry so many parts because they all can’t be attached at the same time. It’s bad enough trying to remember baby necessities while traveling let alone sun shade and car seat attachment for options to ride.

Several things make this stroll a miss. Let’s start with the fact that babies and kids, once they can sit up they want to be sitting upright. 2, the basket. OMG what does this basket hold? A toy? Certainly not a diaper bag. And 3. Not even a year in and the sun shade is broken. The part that connects to the stroller broke and the wire to the sun Sade is sticking out of the shade itself. I went to find replacement parts and the system doesn’t even recognize my model number.

No Pram Available

I bought this stroller a few months ago with the intention of being able to use it with the bassinet/pram option if I found it annoying to have to strap my baby into his car seat every time I go for a walk (that’s the only way to have baby face you) as the photos and description for the stroller on this and other retailer websites seem to pretty clearly state that’s an option. I have now been informed that the pram/ bassinet for this model has been discontinued and is no longer available anywhere which is understandably frustrating as I would likely have purchased a different stroller had I known the bassinet wouldn’t be an option. Other than that inconvenience and frustration, the stroller works well, is very easy to assemble and collapse and maneuver over bumpy terrain.

Photos would indicate you can utilize the pram with this stroller, but the compatible pram has been discontinued and there is no adapter to make any of the others work.
