The Baby Merlin's Magic Sleepsuit was created by a mother of four who is a pediatric physical therapist to improve the quality and duration of her babies' sleep. The Baby Merlin's Magic Sleepsuit is designed for back sleeping in the bare crib only in a room at the recommended temperature for babies. I waited almost a month to review this! My little man is a very active sleeper. He slept so well being swaddled I was so nervous to transition him. We went to the Merlin after many recommendations (and reviews). It did take our little one over a week to adjust to his arms and legs being out but on day 10 he slept 11 hours. 11 HOURS. He averages 10-11.5 hours a night now. He also loves to nap in it. Many people say how it’s magic right away but give it time! Babies need to adjust (which I had to remind myself because we had a few really bad sleep nights adjusting to arms and legs out!)

We were so worried to switch from the suit to the sleep sack but it was time since she started rolling. The sack continued to be magical! My 4 month daughter just slept 12 uninterrupted hours!

My baby was a great sleeper until I had to stop swaddling her when she started rolling over. I tried slowly transitioning her out of the swaddle with just one arm out and alternating arms but it didn’t work. I tried a different transitional sleep sack without success. I ordered a Merlin Magic sleep suit and she slept all night in her bassinet the first night we used it. It is definitely worth a try if you are looking for something when transitioning baby out of the swaddle.

I had the sleep suit for my first baby who slept 12 hours when we started using it. He’s now a toddler and still sleeps that long, I believe due to the good routine and the encouragement from the sleep suit! We have our second baby now and I’m excited to start using it when she’s ready!

My baby was already sleeping well but busting out of her swaddle regularly. The Magic Merlin sleep suit was a seamless transition for her at 2. 5 mos old. She slept 7:30p-6 a the first night. I would recommend starting use at night time first and then for naps so that sleep pressure is higher. I like that she can still move her arms and get her fingers in her mouth to soothe herself when needed. Im so happy I decided to try this. This is my 3rd baby and I wish I would have invested in this with my other 2!

We transitioned our 3 month old from a swaddle to this sleep suit and our daughter loved it! She falls asleep immediately in her bassinet and it’s even helped her soothe herself to sleep. I wasn’t sure we “needed” this but I’m so glad we tried it! It’s soft and cozy and feels like she’s cuddled in a blanket. My daughter is in the 3-6 and it’s a little big but room to grow.

A lifesaver at our house. If you have a tall baby, get this for the period when they grow out of the first (small) sleep suit but still can’t roll over.

I started using these on my baby when he was 2 months old. He started going through a sleep regression at 4 months and we ordered the next size up(because he was growing out of the small) and he started sleeping through the night again. These babies work like a charm and I wish they made them big enough for adults.

After not only having two personal recommendations about the Magic Sleepsuit and also reading the incredible reviews, I was super excited to try this out and looking forward to sleeping again. Sadly, I must be one of the unlucky ones because this hasn’t worked one bit. To start with, it only comes in 2 sizes and with my baby being 4 months at the time of purchase I figured the 3-6 month would be the one to suit her. After contacting the team’s support I learned that the fit is not snug enough and was advised to cuff both arms and legs. Hoping that this would do the trick, I was then told that by cuffing the arms they were now too short so I had to uncuff them. This is still not making the suit work and I have yet to put her on it and get her to sleep. Her startle reflex is still the same and she sleeps better on her winter suit than in the Merlin. Would I recommend this product? I wouldn’t recommend or not recommend, I would just say that it didn’t work for us and that I am very disappointed that it didn’t after all the raving reviews. If you asked me, I’d say go with low expectations should you purchase it
