I really like this carrier. I have used other brands, but the baby bjorn carriers are the easiest to use, and get baby into on your own, in my opinion. The clips etc, are just the most intuitive and easiest to use without the help of a second person. The back support on the "free" Carrier, is the best of any carrier I've ever used. My only piece of feedback, is that when my baby is facing forward, when I fold over the front piece, it does not stay down. It's constantly flipping back up in my babies face, and I find that pretty annoying. Would be great if there were a couple little buttons of snaps that would hold it down when folded over. Otherwise I love this carrier!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Works exactly as you'd expect. I think if it was easier to switch sizes between my wife and I. But the most important is the baby loves it.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Love it. I bought the ergo baby because I thought it would last me until my baby was three. She hated it. It was bulky and hard to get into. When the baby carrier free came in I ran to put it on and put my baby in it. She fell asleep in two minutes. Game changer.

We're so happy to hear how well loved this carrier has been by you and little one! The ease of use is definitely one of our favorite parts too! While it's great for soothing baby, we recommend placing them on a flat surface for safest sleeping when possible.

I got this as a gift at my baby shower and while there are parts I love about the carrier (the material, the ease of putting on, the back support) I could not get the proper M shape for my babies hips when she was little but within the weight and height guidelines of the carrier. Even with all the adjustments the video shows you to make the seat was very narrow which cannot give you that M shape. I wish I ended up registering for the harmony as I feel like I may have had better luck that carrier. Unfortunately this led me to using a different carrier every day from a younger age that has a better fit for her hips. Just wanted to share my experience as I know picking a carrier is a hard thing to do as an expecting mom!

I nannied for a baby with this carrier and loved it. The buckles take some getting used to, but it’s simple once you get the hang of it. Super comfortable and won’t break your back. Another baby I nannied for had a cheaper carrier, and the bjorn is a night and day difference compared to that

I love how easy to put on it is! My baby seems comfortable. The only qualm I have is the leg-hole adjustment...I can't seem to get the good "M" shape that's recommended. Other than that, I'm super happy with it!

This carrier is great for young babies and the extra support is nice if you have a heavier baby. My baby is always happy in this carrier. I also like that it has some structure making it much easier to put on quickly. I like how it fits taller babies. It fits both my husband (6”4) and myself (5”5). I can’t imagine using this carrier with a baby over 20lbs as the pocket the baby slips into is not adjustable in width and the lumbar support is not enough for that weight. Realistically, this carrier is best for 0-6 or 7 months depending on your baby’s size. I think the price is steep for something that will only last half a year and I do not know how comfortable the carrier will be for babies as they get bigger.

This is the greatest baby carrier ever. I had a different one for my first baby, and she hates every second in that carrier. My second absolutely loves this thing, and I can use both my hands to work, do dishes or clean while she naps. Invest in this, and you won’t be sorry.

We bought the Free carrier back in 2020 when our first baby was born, I gave it to my sibling when they had their baby and we are now using it for our second baby born this year and I cannot recommend this product enough. I came back to the website 3 years later just to write a review for any parents debating between the tons of carriers out there. This carrier is amazing for your back and shoulders as baby gets heavier and the long sessions of using it. It is so easy to get on and off and get baby adjusted. It is even easier to clean and adjust as needed. This product has gone through 3 years and 3 babies and is still in perfect condition. WORTH IT!

This is so uncomfortable for baby. They have to sit on a horrible plastic bar and my daughter cried everytime I tried to put her in it. The bar digs into their legs. She also smashed her face on the plastic shoulder buttons. I don't understand why they would design it this way. I returned it and bought a Sakura Bloom.

I love my carrier, easy and soft. Only one dislike is the flap will NOT stay down when forward facing. So I’ll be attaching a button or snap. Totally annoying.
Admirably convenient

I love how easy it is to strap the baby into this carrier after having struggled with others, and how secure the the fasteners are at the same time (I deliberately pulled on them in every direction). Worth every penny.

My new favourite carrier! After spending money on another brand and hating it, I thought I’d give this one a try and thankful that I did! It’s super easy to put on yourself and strap baby in. I also appreciate how lightweight yet supportive it is.

This was our third try at finding a carrier that worked for our family and I'm glad we finally settled on the Carrier Free. My husband couldn't reach the ones that clip in the back and his body heat always left him and the baby sweating. This was perfect since it clips and adjusts in the front and is made of lightweight mesh so they don't get as warm. My only note is that the fabric that hangs down is a bit awkward, but you can tuck that up into the carrier (between you and baby) and then it's perfectly normal!

Takes some time to get used to. My son is only 3 weeks old we have practiced at home a couple of times. He just isn’t ready to be taken outside or to be in the harness for any amount of time yet. The most expensive baby item I have purchased.

I used this carrier for my son and it saved me: having two hands free and being able to hold him! Brilliant. Loved it so much I ordered this one for my niece.
