Waste of money
Thought this would be a fun way for my kids to watch their seesaw start before moving them to the garden, but it's so flimsy they couldn't use it. Extremely disappointed, as the lid doesn't fit on, the vent arrived cracked, and the seed tray feels like it's going to fall apart. Usually seeds sprout for me fairly quickly, but these just look like a tray of dirt.

Mold growth
White mold grew within a few days. I tried to air out the soil some but it’s only grown more. Some of my seeds have started to sprout so it’s working but the mold is concerning.

Don't buy this
It's a water trap. Plants don't thrive as they should in these and mold grows extremely quick. I bought this and found someone giving away multiple small pots so I did both. I did the same seeds in the individual pots and this germination kit, one wasn't growing, one sprouted already. After a week or two the kit started molding and my seeds were pretty much wasted. The individual pots on the other hand are growing extremely well.

i read some of the reviews but decided to take a chance anyways…followed the instructions exactly and got white mold growing out of the cardboard

White mold
Grew white mold, I can tell it’s coming from the pot trays and not the soil since it started growing there first and then moved over the soil. I’m worried about our seedlings making it.

Worked Fine!

Grows mold
Starting growing a white, fuzzy-like mold one day after planting. We removed the lid and wiped away mold that was visible, but a few days later it started to smell and grow back. The plants seem to be procuring just fine, but the mold is super annoying. Would suggest just planting seeds directly in pots or plastic containers instead

Mildew builds up fast and seedlings were trashed
It worked ok, mildew grew day one and had to completely ditch the lid. Works much better with just the tray and I don’t think it’s worth the price. None of my other trays have grown mildew.

Inflation being so bad buying herbs in the store, doesn't fit into my budget. I've been growing some things for awhile. I started some different herb seeds. I have some plants under grow lights. These I'm going to put in my windowsill and give a natural light. I'm excited to see which works better. I know growing my own herbs is adding to my cooking but saving my pocketbook too! This kit is easy to do! Is completely biodegradable. Helps your plants and the environment.

Fantastic how easy it makes everything for us. I love the instructions and their quality. We keep it inside the house and it has worked perfectly. I live in Miami Fl, the high temperatures would have damaged everything, so it is in the central air conditioning near a window. 100% recommended
