baggallini Women's Calais Crossbody Bag

Purchased this item before my trip to Ireland., Unfortunately, midway through the trip I noticed that the stitching near the top zipper was coming out. I had to be careful the rest of the trip as I was worried that it would come out completely and be a safety issue. I did like all the features of the bag but disappointed in its durability.

The size is perfect for me and I can make it a crossbody if I want to, without it being horsey. I love the built in wallet, I always can find what I'm looking for.

Just received my new Calais Crossbody Bag by Baggallini. I've been searching for a new bag like this for several years. I'm glad that I decided to take a look at this brand; I've been familiar with them for some time, but the styles that I've seen in stores did not have the features that I wanted or weren't the right size. This bag had the built in wallet that I want--a few credit card slots(6+), money compartment, zippered compartments, etc., plus pockets for tissues, lip balms, hidden phone pocket; probably a few more nooks and crannies than I need but I love having options. It will carry all that I need and more, but I still consider this a small size bag. I am not fond of hobo bags that are a catch all for loose odds and ends; give me organization!! I consider this bag the perfect bag for my needs, and I love the black fabric with gold hardware. It's beautiful! I will buy another if or when the need arises.

I fell in love with this bag at first site. I love a crossbody and this one is a perfect size. Great organization features and so stylish thanks to the hardware. Fits all my essentials and is so comfortable to wear. LOVE IT!

My favorite Baggallini! I have it in 2 colors. Love the gold hardware. The turning clasp is the reason I bought it. Many pockets and comfortable on the shoulder. Wish it were less money. I would buy in more colors.

I must have looked at 50 different bags before choosing this bag: it’s small(ish), has RFDI protection, there are plenty of internal pockets and zippers, and it provides a convenient and deep outer phone pocket with a magnet closure. The gold hardware gives the black fabric an elegant look.

Very stylish bag. Holds everything I need: cellphone, sunglasses, wallet, reading glasses, lip gloss. It can go from casual to dressy. I like the gold hardware. I would give it 4 and 1/2 stars if I could, due to a design flaw where you have to hold the end of the zipper down to zip it and then tuck it in. Not sure why it is this way. I like the style of the Calais Crossbody Bag. Not too big, but still holds a lot!

I now own 3 of these! I love how convenient they are!! I don’t need a billfold, which is huge for me because I never have found one I like!! Can’t imagine operating without MY favorite purse!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lots of compartments with gold zippers dangling. The black material holds everything that drops on it. The front lock is loose and doesn’t lock. It’s a beautiful bag with adjustable straps. It fits lots of different things.

Love this beautiful perfect size purse. It's beautiful & the perfect size for any engagement.

I bought this and I am happy with it but I did change the strap to a wider one. I had an old purse I did not use much - same colors ( black with gold trim) and it had a wide strap which I prefer . all slots are helpful but I also prefer a wallet to grab when I change purses. I Never use the card slots on purses since I prefer a wallet. It fits in all of my stuff- glasses, sunglasses, wallet, small cosmetics bag, eye drops, etc. The gold helps dress it up since I like to wear it dressy too.

Everything was the same accept the detachable handle which I do love because I can always get it to lay flat. I love the bright gold tones. It is an honor and pleasure to use this bag. I was also able to take part in a sale...sale or not I would have still purchased this bag. The last one was not really big but held a lot of stuff. Great style.

I really like the size and shape of this bag for daily and evening us but it’s a bit heavy. I can’t figure out why that is. It makes it a little uncomfortable to se a lot.

I recently purchased the Calais in black with gold. The bag is very cute and looks classic with the gold details. The feature of the bag are convenient and I think this will make a good everyday bag.
