A: Hello Nolamom78 - Thank you for your interest! The manual air pump is not designed to assist in adding helium to balloons. This pump can inflate cellophane balloons. You’ll need to purchase a helium tank to fill the balloons with helium. I hope this helps. - Zara

I have several other balloon pumps in different sizes, and this one is the worst and the most expensive. It simultaneously leaks air as you pump, and you have to use a lot of force. The other three I got came free with the balloons I purchased. I would not recommend this pump.

This manual ballon pump didn’t work; when trying to fill out the ballon’s, the air pressure of the pump was too low. Had to put air on the ballon’s using my mouth. Gave it one star just to have the review posted but pump wasn’t worth

Easy to use and did its job! So many other ones suck but I figured I would grab this one for some mylar foil balloons (I had 5 total) and this filled them up in no time. I didn’t need a straw or anything. It did work fine for latex balloons as well, but I found it faster to use my mouth. But for foil balloons, it worked great!

How does this have any 5-star reviews? Yet none of those reviews explain how they actually got the pump to inflate a balloon. It's really hard to pull the pump back in order to inflate again, and the air escapes the balloon no matter how tightly I held it onto the nozzle.
