I recently got a pretty deep paper cut on the palm of my hand (bummer), so I needed a waterproof bandage to keep water/liquids out so the cut would heal properly. Especially nowadays when the pandemic pundits are constantly reminding us to wash our hands regularly. I bought these Band-Aid Water Block bandages because, as the product name indicates, they’re supposed to be water-proof and stay on your cut even when they get wet. I experienced the exact opposite with these band-aids. The first time I had one on, I happened to spill some water on my hand, and right away, the band-aid started to peel back at the edges (especially in the middle, where the absorbent pad is), exposing my cut. Considering that this band-aid performed so badly just when water was accidentally splashed on it, it was no surprise that the product completely failed when I washed my hands with soap. On 3 or 4 occasions, the band-aid came completely off and fell into the sink … when I had barely started rubbing the soap between my hands! Left me with a painful cut, stinging from the soap that had gotten into it. The only reason I didn’t give these band-aids zero/one star is that they are pretty flexible and comfortable to wear. So if you don’t need your band-aids to be waterproof, you might be satisfied with this product.
