Barbie Career Pastry Chef Doll & Accessories

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the cute variety that Mattel makes now with all sorts of different occupations and body sizes. I loved this pastry chef Barbie for my daughter because she loves to bake with me! It comes with a cute cupcake and a chefs hat. While it’s cute, I think it would be more fun if they had different sizes of cakes or pastries to go with the Barbie instead of one little cupcake. I also have to say, the Barbies cupcake pants don’t even cover the butt…. I think another 1/8 of an inch of fabric to cover the Barbie’s butt would’ve been nice. But other than those couple things, fun for girls that love to bake!

I watch baking shows all the time with my daughter, so she was super excited to have a pastry chef Barbie. The chef's hat even stays on her head and doesnt fall off easily. This is a cute Barbie and great quality one. I am happy with this doll.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was used at home with my daughter. She really enjoyed the idea of a Pastry Chef Barbie. She enjoys cooking and making treats herself so it was easy for her to enjoy the play with this doll. The doll came with a cupcake and hat as accessories that were both well made. The doll itself has durable clothes and seems it will hold up while in the kitchen during actual Pastry making. The doll was easy to remove from package and I like that the hat is secured on the doll so that it isn't easily lost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun and simple toy for the kids to play with. The kids love to have the chef make all sorts of fun dishes for the rest of their friends. I do wish she came with more accessories. Compared to some other brands that come with a little table/oven to cook your pastry’s in. Maybe even a little bowl. I feel like this to feel a little short of my expectations. The kids love it though.

Only disappointment is that she had a terrible choppy haircut, looks like a child took scissors to her hair right out of the package.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My teen daughter love to bake. She loved this barbie pastry chef. As a teenager she doesn't play with barbies much but this one she has been playing becuase like she said "it's me". She said its fun to play with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was a chef for Halloween so she saw this Barbie and immediately LOVED it! She even loved the cupcake that was included. She did have difficulty actually balancing the plate on the Barbie's hand similar to the picture, but she really has so much fun pretend play cooking and serving. It would have been nice to include a few more accessories. Maybe a mixing bowl or whisk...but overall nice job!

Her hat fits great and doesn’t slip and fall or need adjusted during play! We thought the cupcake was adorable and inspired us to make some of our own!

The patterns and colors on the outfit were really cute, and we liked the clogs. I wish the cupcake had a way for the doll to hold it. Also, once detached, the hat won’t stay on, so make sure you leave the plastic on if you want the hat to stay in place. Wish she had a few more accessories.

Reviews from a 6 year old: her chef hat fits well, her hair is pretty, and bonus: she can wear all the other Barbie clothes we have! Unfortunately, she can't stand up independently and can't hold the cupcake easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chef doll is cute but I’m kind of bummed that I can’t get her to hold the cupcake accessory like she is on the packaging. I may be missing a piece? It was easy to open the package and the bands attached to her. I also wish that this doll could bend her legs but you can at the waist. The pretty shoes and chef hat are nice that can be removed. Overall she is a pretty doll and I love the style!

Her pants have a charming cupcake print. Her elbows and knees are not moveable. She is a charming Barbie for anyone who likes to bake and dream of being a pastry chef!

The hat does not stay on incredible well. And as usual, there’s a bit too much packaging on the doll. But a fun addition for us as we already had a Barbie cafe!

She is dressed in the cutest decorated pants with purple clog shoes, that look just like something a real pastry chef would wear. Her bakery jacket is absolutely spot on with the buttons, and my little absolutely loves that Barbie is holding a cupcake to complete the look. Barbie has been pretend baking cookies, cakes and brownies in her house all day with friends. One complaint was that barbie's pastry hat is hard, like her shoes, when we figured itd be cloth or even a flexible plastic. Still would recommend.
