[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the simple joy of this barbie. my 4 yo daughter can easily move the pin on the barbie's back to make the flowers appear and disappear. I also like that there are not a lot of small accessories to keep track of. The colors are bright and fun and my daughter's face lit up when we took it out of the packaging. The packaging was easy enough to open but I wish they would not put the plastic clothing tags into the barbie heads; those are the hardest to remove without cutting hair or accessories.

This Barbie is easy to assemble and it is easy to use the slider on the back to make the flowers appear and then disappear. My daughter loved showing me how to do this! From the moment we unboxed her, it was clear she was something special. Her floral-themed outfit and magical blooming transformation make her stand out from other dolls. She isn't always the easiest on her toys, but this is made of a very sturdy plastic. The Blooming Flowers feature was a hit although they got caught the more use it got. Overall, we were very pleased with how cute and fun this was!

My girls have loved playing with this Barbie since we first received it in the mail. It was very easy for them to figure out how to slide the lever on her back to make the flowers bloom and to go away. The Barbie is also waterproof so they have been able to to with her in the water and not worry about ruining her like some of their other Barbies. He tails is also an ombre color that sets her apart for other mermaid Barbies that we have. I would definitely recommend this Barbie to anyone with kids that love mermaids.

The quality of the doll is the excellent quality you expect from the Barbie brand. The flowers glide in and out of the doll's outfit very smoothly. My daughter had no issues playing with that feature. Her hair is well "rooted" My daughter has been combing her hair for days with minimal hair coming out. While she does not bend to "sit" my daughter loves the way her arms move. Not just up and down but backwards and forwards as well. Almost like she's swimming. Everything about this doll is cute and well made. A++++++

The Barbie’s hair and face are beautiful, and the vibrant colors really stand out. One of the biggest highlights was opening and closing the flower details—my daughter loved the interactive element, and the flowers add a delightful pop of color and magic. That said, one drawback is that the Barbie's body doesn’t bend at all—she stays completely straight, which makes posing and certain types of play a bit more limited. Also, after repeated use, the flowers started to look a little worn from being opened and closed so many times. They’ve still held up okay, but I’m not sure how durable they’ll be in the long run. Despite those minor issues, this Barbie has brought a lot of joy and imaginative play. If your child enjoys mermaids, water play, and a bit of magic, this one is worth considering—even if it might not be the most durable option over time.

She has several Barbie mermaids, but this one is keeping her interest far more than the other ones. I have not tried it in water like her other mermaids, but the flower blooming mechanism works very well when dry. It’s very clever. It’s hard to see in pictures, but there are four flowers that fold up and pull into small gaps in her top and tail, and then “bloom” back out when you activate them from a hard flower on the back. Great toy!
