[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loved all the spa toys and pretending that she was going to the spa. The only part she didn’t like was the part that goes around her shoulders since it’s hard to put on and stay on. The unboxing was fun with all the different boxes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a fun Barbie! There are three different presents to open to reveal the Barbie and the party accessories that accompany her. My daughter received a Barbie that came with a face mask, hair wrap, earrings and necklace, purse, high heeled shoes, a dress that can be reversed into a towel, and a cute cat in a lipstick container. Likes: the Barbie had a normal body shape and even had freckles on her face. She comes wearing a purple bathing suit, which I prefer so there aren’t cloth less Barbie’s lying around her room. The arms and legs have joints and it makes them move to mimic a real person. You can also change the Barbie’s hair - hot water turns it pink and cold water turns it purple. My daughter enjoyed opening all the presents to retrieve the accessories and it feels like the doll was made for a party. Dislikes: while it’s fun that the earrings and necklace can be removed, the earrings are very tiny and could get lost easily. The animal also comes in a lipstick container and is enclosed in slime - I wish they didn’t have the slime around the animal because it gets all over.

Your child will get to unbox one Barbie doll along with many accessories that includes a wearable towel that reverses into a dress, earrings, shoes, a purse and more! My daughter loved that the top of the fake lipstick tube had a type of slime/jelly that you had to dig through to find an animal, and she loved opening up all the boxes with the surprises inside. It was so much fun for her and kept her busy for hours! I would highly recommend this Barbie set for any Barbie lover who loves surprises!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Barbie Party Unboxed doll is so fun. What makes the doll so fun is the packaging. The fact that each clothing and accessory piece was individually wrapped in a blind bag increased anticipation for what piece was coming next and acted like a game in it of itself. The several clothes and accessories included allowed for individual customization and allows players to pretend like they’re giving Barbie a complete makeover. The face mask and hair towel included also gives the idea that the child is truly in the process of giving Barbie a complete make over for a party or a night on the town. The color change effect on the hair and the face is another clever aspect of Barbie that helps the child also make Barbie all their own. The only thing I didn’t like about this doll was the animal coated in the gelatin substance. I found it to be quite messy and hard to completely get off the animal. But overall, this doll leaves much to the imagination and really encourages children to be creative when giving Barbie a makeover.

We reviewed this at home after a tough school day and it quickly has become the toy she reaches for every time we go somewhere! Oh how fun is this set!! My girl is a huge barbie fan so I knew this would be a hit! Between the slime oh how much does this almost 6 year baby loves slime lol and she is super into surprise toys!! This is super cute that it's pink slime and with the little kitty cat inside the slime. The little box that is part of the surprises is such a cute touch to store everything when not in use, you know as a parent these little things get lost soo quick lol Also ya'll incorporated water play!! Color changing hair hot pink in hot water and light pink in cold. This is just the perfect toy between the surprises 10 all together! The hair is also quick drying which is a huge bonus. My only quirk with this is the shawl too is a little tricky to stay on especially with someone with fine motor issues.. The packaging is superb and super fun and colorful as well! What a great thing to get to try days before her birthday comes!! Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie is a mystery surprise. You don't know what doll you are going to get. However, there is a Barbie in there. There are also 3 other boxes with fun surprises like makeup and hair color for the Barbie doll. My 7 year old granddaughter loves it because hers was a spa package with colorful surprises for her and the doll. It is kind of a craft activity, beauty treatment in one for the doll.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely loved opening each box and bag. I think it was the element of surprise that made it so exciting for her. The first thing she noticed about this Barbie was that she has a different body shape, as she put it. It’s not that she dislikes the difference, but she finds it hard to dress the doll using the clothes she already owns, since they don’t fit well. There also aren’t many aftermarket clothing options available for this body type, which makes it less fun for her. Because of that, this isn’t her favorite type of Barbie. One of the first things she wanted to try was the color-changing streak in the doll’s hair, which she really enjoyed. She also liked that the lipstick turned into a bed for the pet. However, the gel inside the lipstick grossed her out, so she asked me to remove it. I think if it was a scented slime, she would’ve loved it. One thing she might not use at all is the head wrap. She says it’s just not realistic enough and doesn’t like it being plastic. Overall, I think she enjoyed the experience with this Barbie line enough that she wanted to get another one. She bought the cake version from the Party Unboxed pet Birthday series.

She especially loved taking apart the lipstick to get to the kitten encased in gel. She told me this is one of her favorite Barbies and she has quite the collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought the barbie party unboxed for something for my granddaughter to play with when going to visit my sister. She loved all the different boxes to open. Shes a cat lover and was so excited to see the cat in the gel. The cat is kind of small. She misplaced it a few times but we were able to find it. It was a little messy to dig out but she loved it. The spa package is really cute and love that you can switch her outfit. I love that the barbie has an average body with thick thighs instead of a itty bitty skinny barbie. Her hair is very cool with the stripes of color. We couldnt seem to get the color to change. Some of the directions were hard to follow. It disnt have the same parts that were pictured. Overall my granddaughter loved it!

We had fun rubbing an ice cube on the Barbie's hair then warm water, watching the hair change colors. The instructions weren't the clearest, but we figured it out easily. She really liked getting the figurine out of the "lipstick" gel and opening up the "makeup" for the rest of the accessories. It was a fun time!

The multiple small packets of surprises always spark interest and excitement the doll is true barbie fashion not much changes with them functionality wise. The outfit seemed a bit disappointing as it didnt fit the fuller figured doll very well and that it was reversible seemed kind of cheesy overall my daughter enjoyed opening and playing with it as any little girl would with a new barbie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this would be a perfect birthday gift for a Barbie fan just because of the pretty packaging alone! No real need to add gift wrap and it’s even topped with a cleverly crafted cardboard bow! My granddaughter loved the packaging so much that we ignored using the perforated tear strips to open it and instead carefully cut the transparent tape that was holding it all together so she could reuse the boxes. She even fashioned the boxes and glittery cardboard insert into a store playset for the doll. The doll comes dressed as if having a spa day with her head wearing a plastic turban over her hair, a facial mask covering her face and a terrycloth towel that reverses into a glitzy party dress. Her face is adorable and sprinkled with realistic freckles! Her two tone hair is nice quality that doesn’t easily tangle and her curvy body is jointed at the knees and elbows that isn’t as common to find in most Barbies. My granddaughter did not want to open up the faux lipstick to remove the pet kitten from the gel thing inside so didn’t push her. She liked seeing the kitten through the plastic cover as it came. The set comes with a sturdy storage box that holds can be used to store all the little accessories that come in the smaller boxes with the exception of the plastic turban and lipstick. The lavender stole, earrings, ‘silver’ earrings, necklace and purse all coordinate nicely with the outfit. My granddaughter loved the color change feature of the lips from pale to bright pink and the streaks in the hair from pink to purple. I had her use an ice cube instead of water as it’s not as messy as water. Overall, she’s very pleased with this set and it kept her busy for almost an hour! It would have been beyond perfect if it would have included a doll stand and a hair brush!

She’s a fantastic gift to give when you don't know what to bring to all the birthday parties your child is invited to now that they're back in school or to any girl any time. After all, the surprises are the in thing and they love them. The doll we received had a real woman's figure. Both my granddaughter and I were very happy with the positive body image it portrayed. The color changing hair was so vibrant. Her hair started to change just by the warmth of our hands. She had brown eyes and freckles, which were absolutely adorable. Her towel reverses into a dress, so that's one less thing for your child to misplace. She has earrings you can put in and out of her ears. A purse she can hold, necklace, shawl and the cutest pet cat. It also has a cute case to hold all the accessories. I would have rated this a 5 but there were a few things both my granddaughter and I didn't like. The accessories were a bit hard to put on and fell off easily. The hair was very choppy looking. Not smooth on the bottom like most Barbies. The hair towel was difficult to remove when first opened and it's hard plastic. Felt it would be better if it were fabric like body towel. Also, face mask does not stay on without head towel. We also felt a hair brush would have been a more appropriate accessory than a face mask, given that this doll has color changing hair. I know I sound extremely fussy, but I think you should know everything about this doll.

The makeup themed unboxing was fun and kept her entertained with the idea of "putting on makeup" as she got to unbox. She really enjoyed it because she felt like she was doing a #grwm "get ready with me" pretend vlog while opening the surprises since you have the entire process of getting the Barbie ready from start to finish. Very happy with the amount of items and accessories this Barbie set includes; 10 different surprises!! When you begin unboxing you first have a beautiful Barbie with gorgeous long hair with bright color- the hair and face have changing effects with warm and cold water. (One of the coolest features) Barbie comes with a bath towel, hair towel and face mask to start- then you will next unbox all Barbie needs to get ready; the makeup compact has many hidden accessories that you can poke out with your makeup brush for your surprise! During the reveal from the compact you will find many accessories such as a necklace, purse, earrings, shoes, and a dress bow. The towel Barbie has on is a surprise within itself being that it is reversible and once turned around it becomes a dazzling, shimmery dress for a fancy night out! Barbie also comes with a lipstick tube full of slime that has a cute little pet inside! This was a favorite since slime was included and the pet is inside the slime- even better the cutest little kitten was what we found! This is all around a wonderful gift that makes not only getting to play with it fun but the entire unboxing and opening aspect even more fun! You could create a Barbie get ready with me play pretend vlog just like my daughter did and the possibilities are endless. The accessories are very well made and good quality with very easy application adding them onto the Barbie doll. My daughter is 6 and didn't require help getting any of the accessories onto Barbie for her final look. She enjoyed getting to watch the color effects by adding different temperatures of water to her doll. It's like magic right before our eyes and she really loves that feature because of that. Lastly, it's so very nice to see Barbie dolls with some realistic body features and curves. She has a thicker body type and it's more realistic for children to be able to view and not be so critical on their own bodies. This Barbie shoes beauty in a more realistic manner. She also has posable joints which makes play more realistic for the settings! We would definitely recommend purchasing for yourselves or as a gift!

The doll came in a large box that had 3 smaller boxes attached to the front...the 3 boxes were made to look like presents. There was a tube that looked like a lipstick that had a small pet inside some crumbly slime-type substance. My daughter was not too excited about the crumbly slime, as she would have preferred to have it be real slime. But that did not take away from the fun of having the lipstick looking tube and small pet. One of the surprise boxes had a small box that housed Barbie's shoes, necklace, and earrings. The wrap-around towel that Barbie arrives in turns inside out to a sparkly dress. My daughter was tickled with the spa mask, as it is something unique. The doll has bendable legs and arms, long hair with purple streaks. All in all a big hit with my daughter.
