Barbie Skipper Babysitters, Inc. Dolls and Playset

I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter. The baby has an open mouth, unlike most other Barbie babies, and when you put the bottle or the pacifier in the baby's mouth her eyes close. It shows that on the package but it doesn't say that anywhere, so it was a nice surprise. The mobile on the crib is so sweet and can be manually turned. My granddaughter LOVED this and played with it all afternoon. It really is a cute little set and well made. There are no annoying stickers to deal with either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our daughter really enjoyed unboxing this doll and exploring the various parts of the baby accessories and crib. She has enjoyed using it alongside her other doll figures and was really excited to see the baby eyes open and shut when using the bottle. It's a well made toy with sturdy plastic which should last well. We would have preferred the doll to have joined arms so that she can hold the baby but also be positioned into other stances for better play options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cute set for both boys and girls, includes very small pieces which is why it's recommended for 3+ my grandaughter is 4 so I have to keep a close eye on her but she adores this set which includes a fully dressed adult Barlie with removable clothes and long hair, her arm is in a bent position so she can hold baby (also included) baby has a removable nappy and a bottle and dummy, once fed the baby's eyes appear closed so looks fast asleep. Also includes cute baby cot with an attached swinging baby mobile to help baby fall asleep, blanket and toy for baby. All parts are small and fiddly but with supervision my grandaughter plays with these for hours and we just pop everything in a box so nothing gets lost. A really cute set, I would definitely recommend this toy.

My daughter loves playing with her barbies and playsets so this was perfect to add to her ever growing collection she loves the skipper doll and the little baby doll and the accessories for the baby doll and the crib. Overall its a great doll and playset I would definitely recommend if your children love barbie.

It’s of really good quality. The play set gives endless possibilities for imagination and keeps my toddler occupied. Absolutely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Daughter absolutely loves this set, even her little sister got to play with it too. They both shared the roles of mummy and baby. The little cot is a great addition to their barbie house and now the babies have somewhere to sleep. Made fairly well but the small parts do need supervision especially with smaller children around. All round a really nice set with a great role play ability.

For example the baby's eyes close when the dummy is inserted mimic in a real baby: One happy little girl.

The babies eyes open and close. Closing when a bottle or pacifier is placed in mouth. Skipper has purple stripes in her hair, very cute and hip! Hours of playtime at a time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel like I can never go wrong with a Barbi. This Barbi Skipper Babysitter definitely follows along with the good Barbi name. Skipper has the classic beautiful long hair that is easy to comb and style. The jointed arms and legs make for more realistic play. The baby also has jointed arms and legs. I absolutely love how the baby can hold the included bottle and pacifier in its mouth. Skipper can put the baby in the crib when it's time for bed. Of course the crib has a mobile and every baby needs a teddy bear! This is a great set for imaginative play and helps foster learning responsibility.

They are not build to last the Barbie lasts but not the crib hangers. Still liked to play with it but just not a good idea if you have a really little one who likes to but things in their mouth playing next to big sister/brother

So when I saw this with a baby I knew they would love it! They are getting a Barbie townhouse for Christmas so they “needed” new Barbie friends to play with!
