Asked family to buy this for my daughters for Christmas. We put it together and it almost immediately collapsed. It is now just consistently in pieces and will likely go in the trash as I can’t return it. Noticed at other retailers there are similar one star reviews so it seems to be a common problem. I paid almost the same price for the full Barbie dreamhouse so definitely seems to be overpriced, especially for the poor quality.

I would absolutely never pay full price for this item. I got it over half off and I’m still annoyed I payed that much. It’s nice that it closes and becomes compact, but it constantly disconnects and comes apart. My daughter can’t open it by herself and so can barely open it without it coming apart.

I got it on sale, and I wouldn’t even pay it again for it, much less full price. It falls apart all the time, and it is very flimsy. The only positive is that it is compact when folded, so it can open to be played with and closed to store.
