[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't expect to love a nail clipper this much—but this banana-shaped electric nail clipper is a total lifesaver! I've always been nervous about trimming my baby's tiny nails, but this tool makes it so easy and stress-free. It's gentle enough to use even on newborns, and the low sound and soft vibration don't startle my baby at all. I especially appreciate the four adjustable modes—it lets me trim and polish without ever worrying about hurting her delicate fingers.

This baby nail trimmer is pretty bananas. It basically a nail file that you can use to prevent cutting nails too short which is painful for both parents and baby. It's super easy to use with a few selections of files to change to so you can make sure the nail is smooth and prevent baby from scratching themselves or you. Easy to use. Very cute. Would make a great baby shower gift.

I recommend to ever new mom to get a file for their newborns nails instead of trimming them. First off those little talons are sharp as heck so definitely need shortened, and there's nothing worse than nicking your newborns skin or cutting too close when the flail. This file is great. It's super cute banana design, and comes with a really nice selection of grits so you can keep using it as your little one grows and their nails get tougher. This would make a great baby shower gift. This works well, is cute and a fair price!

The kit comes with the nail file and five grinding heads to use as baby grows. The protective cap leaves the nail a little long, in my opinion, but does a good job of protecting sensitive baby fingers. I like that it comes in a protective case to keep it tidy between uses. It requires 2-AA batteries that are user provided.

I'm trying to stock my guest room with anything and everything my friends with babies will need when visiting. These aren't nail clippers. It's a nail grinder/polisher. It's designed with a safety cover/cap so you can easily do a baby's or small child's nail without injuring their finger. But an adult can use it too, and the protective cover is optional. Comes in a clear box to keep all the grinders organized. Uses batteries ( not included).

No accidentally cutting their cute little fingers, no concern about them wriggling, etc. My second child is 11 months, and I wouldn't use anything else. Outer box and travel container are well-made. It takes 2 AAA batteries (not included). The banana has a matte rubber finish. The "stem" of the banana contains the different rotation options (L2, L1, 0, R1, R2). The cover on the tip can be opened simply by pulling with a bit of force. Take cap off, insert attachment (hexagon shaped insert), place cap on. The metal and wool polishing attachments are meant for older children and adults, while the other 3 are suitable for babies. The light only turns on in L1 and L2 mode (as intended) and is extremely weak, not able to use for any sort of sleep-time trimming. Without the cap, the light is slightly better, but it's basically non-existent with the cap on. Because the trimmer stops once it comes into contact with skin, I'm not sure what the intent of the cap is. Perhaps it's to prevent a baby from chewing off the tip? (My baby did chew off a layer from the head of my previous trimmer...) Can be used with or without the cover attached. Very quiet. Compared to other similar products on the market, it only has 5 vs. the typical 6 attachments. It is a bit more expensive than others in the market. Attachments do not feel as sturdy, and are not compatible with other brands.
