I got these for my one year old. He is a bit advanced for the tiny baby spoons now and needs some kind of fork, but isnt ready for real forks yet. These are perfect. They are soft- you can easily bend the whole thing, but you can still stab food effectively onto the fork. They came in a nice plastic case, but i have no need for that.

These utensils are good quality, but have no rigidity to them at all, so even though one is shaped like a fork, it's not really possible to use it to stab even soft foods. These will work for soft foods like applesauce and such. There's nothing in the handles to provide and rigidity, so I guess as long as you know you can't stab things with the fork, then they should work just fine.
