A: Hello, Our experience shows that they run small due to the inner wool lining. However, in most cases, the wool lining will relax after a few wears and the initial "snug" feeling will disappear. Our suggestion is to purchase one size up if you normally wear a 1/2 size - meaning, if you normally wear a 7 1/2, purchase an 8, but if you wear a 7, purchase a 7. Thank you,

I have several pair of Bearpaw boots. The Allyssa ‘s I just bought are warm, comfortable, and are just what I needed. I recommend Bearpaw boots and shoes to everyone. I have worn Bearpaw boots for for about the last ten years. I tend to have cold feet and I can wear my Merino wool socks with my boots and my feet are warm and comfortable. LG

Back again this season

These boots have so many perks, they are the perfect color to match with everything. It also feels like I am walking on a cloud everywhere I go. They are water and stain resistant so I never had any issues with them getting dirty, which is a plus. Love love love these and couldn’t recommend any other shoe more.

So warm!
I have many Bearpaw boots but never the short ones. These are perfect! I originally purchased for slippers (first floor only) but they are so comfortable and versatile I now wear them anywhere, I wear a sz 8 shoe but my boots are always sz 9. I think I need another pair! And the traction on ice and snow is remarkable!

Comfortable and last a long time
I’ve had two pairs of bear paws over the years and they both have lasted several winters even though I use them quite liberally in snowy or rainy weather after putting waterproofing spray on them, and my feet even stay dry. They are also comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the fluff in the insides tend to compress after a lot of use and then if anything gets inside of the boot it tends to stick to the padding. They also stretch quite a bit after a while so make sure you get a size that feels snug in the beginning. Overall an amazing value for a great price and they look super cute!
