Cute read but not for impressionabl kids
Bought this book to support Nabela and as a south Asian hoped my 5 yo would relate. Although the book sends a positive message, it focuses too much on weight. This is a book you should only read to 1) a child if they are bullied for their weight and you want them to be more confident 2) a kid old enough to have heard of diets. After reading this book my daughter has the word diet in her vocabulary as something to lose weight. I keep correcting her, the definition is what one eats and let’s be healthy. Totally focuses too much on body image and I understand where Nabela is coming from but this book backfired for us
