The design looks nice and colorful and the clip is strong; however, there are light scratches all over the board. With paper on it you can’t really see them. No, it will not hold a pen. Your best bet is to attach a pen using string or even velcro at the top of the clipboard.

Good size and quality. Found it odd that the It's My Business text runs on the front. So when you look at the clipboard from the back all the wording is backwards, but the Tabitha Brown logo runs on the back. Since the wording is on the front, when you have paper on the clipboard, you cover all the text.

My eyes gravitate toward this stylish blue clipboard. I like the size and the function of it. It doesn’t take up a lot of room on my desk and I’m able to easily pack it easily in my tote bag as well. This clipboard securely hold multiple sheets of paper. The eye catching blue color is really nice too. This clipboard is both useful and attractive.
