I moved from CO to VA and drove my stuff cross-country, and this did the trick! It stayed secure the whole 3-day drive. I think getting the one with side straps would have made them even more secure, but it still worked great for low-budget bike mount on a long drive. It did take at least 2 people to mount on the car for us, so I don’t know if it’s a great option for more regular use or situations where you might have to set it up or take it down yourself.

it does hold the bikes on the back of your car however, you might have to deal with it scratching your paint down to the metal and watching your bike bikes bounce like they’re about to fall off where you turn

Anxiety inducing
If you want to stop every hour to check on it and see it bounce a little everytime you look back then this is your item. Driving to the mental hospital is a more relaxing journey than going anywhere with this bike rack. Only gets a star for actually transporting the bike, though it did scratch up the car(honda crv)

Be careful installing
My main issue with this piece is the lack of instructions. I have a sedan and I ended up damaging my trunk with scratches trying to secure the piece. The instructions are great for an SUV, but you have to decipher pictures for a car.

Great and sturdy bike rack, for an affordable price. I was a bit worried since it had mixed reviews, yet it worked well as described. I didn’t have any issues with it chipping the paint off my car, and it easily fit two bikes. The only downside is that the Velcro straps are a bit on the shorter side, making it more difficult to fit a thicker bike. However, despite that, two bikes fit well and snug.

THE WORST
Do not buy this if you intend on safely transporting your bikes. First and foremost, I have 2 standard bicycles and they did not fit side by side on here despite many attempts to adjust. Second, not very secure and will put damage both to your bike and your vehicle. Honestly this item was cheap, poorly executed and not worth even half of what they are selling for. NOT RELIABLE especially if you own a good quality bike and do not want to damage it during transport. I do not recommend. Returned.
